I'm not sure if it's a true Christmas song, but it's one that is on my playlist anyway - Pipes of Peace by Paul McCartney. It's only recently though that I've realised it's about aliens 👽 and not WWI.

It is a song from the 1970s by a Tyneside group, Lindisfarne. It's called 'Winter Song'.

I heard David Essex singing Just Another Winter’s Tale while out shopping the other day. I’d completely forgotten it, but there’s something deliciously “80s TV Theme Song” about it.

But my favourite Christmas hymn is It Came upon a Midnight Clear.

I agree with the PP who said Jamie Cullum's new Christmas album. I love listening to it!

My fave xmas song since forever is Wombling Merry Christmas by the Wombles.

I also like Merry Christmas You Suckers by Paddy Suckers. It particularly sums up my Xmas mood this year

Some great taste on this thread - came here for the Killers and Jethro Tull, beaten to it multiple times! Not actually a Christmas song, but Wondrous Stories by Yes always makes me feel festive in a quiet sort of way

Tom Waits Christmas Card from a Hooker in Minneapolis. Lovely and melancholy. We listen to it every year driving back from picking up our Christmas food.
