Has anybody not put their tree up yet?

So many put them up in November but has anybody not done it yet?

We haven't, and probably won't until next weekend, which is when we normally put it up. It will stay up until Epiphany and I don't want to be bored with it on Christmas Eve.

I have put up a wreath and some garlands today, and will add to it over the coming days and weeks rather than attempting it all in one go.

Anybody else??

I’ve bought a tree but not put it up yet. I don’t take it fine until the 6th though.

I always put my tree up the first weekend in December so we did all our decorations yesterday. I didn’t feel like doing it but my kids wanted to, I’m glad I did now

Us. I had one ordered to come on Friday for next weekend but my sister got an extra(?) and gave it to me on Friday so now I have a Christmas tree I don't want to put up yet in my garden.

I have also just put up wreaths, decorative green sways, lights etc and have not bought a tree.

We usually wait until as near the 24th as we can, but they all sell out so we'll probably do it in ten days or so. I also want to keep it until epiphany.

No decorations up yet. It will be at least a week before I get my tree, but I don't have young children to pester me

Us, we put the outside lights up this weekend but will put the tree up next weekend. We always do it in the 13th.

I always have a real tree, if you put them up too early they are like crispy seaweed by Christmas Day.
We will get ours next week, let it soak in water for a few days & then brought in & decorated sometime the week after.

Me! Won’t buy one here for at least another week- far too early.

We get a real tree and wreath and leave both up until Twelfth Night.

I leave it up till the 6th January ( Little Christmas in Ireland / Nollag na mBan - Women's Christmas ).
I don't want a dead tree by very early January.

no tree here don't think we are going to have one ds freaks out when he sees a Christmas tree.

dd has a small tree in her room and ds won't go in there since she put it up.

Not yet. Dc2 was born this week so been a bit busy. Would like it up now though.

Not yet, next weekend. The DC do have a felt one up in their room though.

No, I do 12 days before then down on the 12th night. I have a real one and that’s about as long as I can make it last so any earlier would be sad by the time it comes down.

Was planning to do it this weekend but just as we began to move the furniture around, we both just said we didn't really have any enthusiasm for it. So we've postponed it. I suspect this will be the first time in all our years together, that we won't bother. Bloody covid.

We’ll do ours next weekend. Usually done by now but just feeling a bit can’t be bothered about it all this year. If we didn’t have Dd I wouldn’t bother

I have assembled mine but not decorated it yet. I've put lights up outside and in my windows and on my wee tree outside

We just bought our tree today. If I have the energy I’ll put the lights on it tomorrow. Hopefully I can convince the children to deal with the rest???

Nope. Having some work done on the house next week so possibly next weekend!

Nothing up here yet. I like to put it off as long as possible.
