My dc are getting a big tub of LEGO. They are all old enough for it now and have an interest in construction toys.

As a child I dreamed of such LEGO set and I'm looking forward to play with it.

How about you ?

Oh dear oodies for teens, I’m 54 my mil is 70 my friend elderly as well, we can’t wait to snuggle up in them.

Ltdannygreen · 04/12/2020 23:37

Yep and so I saw them on offer and brought them myself, airpods 😂

Scarby9 · 04/12/2020 23:42

Sylvanian Families all day long.

livingthegoodlife · 05/12/2020 07:38

Sylvanian mansion and Barbie dream house this year. All my dreams coming true 🤣 my girls don't know how lucky they are!

IslaMann · 05/12/2020 08:24

Our DD (almost 5) is getting Sylvanian families house and tea shop. She's also getting The Wishing Chair and The Magic Faraway Tree books.
Adult DS has bought her a box of Lego, probably as much for him as for her but I know they'll enjoy playing this together. There's a 19yr age gap so this will appeal to them both.
I bought DSD the Malory Towers books when she was about 8. She wasn't impressed but I loved rereading them.

BearSoFair · 05/12/2020 14:13

DD's highland cow handwarmer. I know she'll use it a lot (icicle hands like me!) but I fully plan to sneak a use when she's in the shower or doing some art and needs her hands free Grin

SillyUnMurphy · 05/12/2020 16:42

Oh definitely! My 9 year old DD is getting the Harry Potter Great Hall Lego set and it looks amazing. I’ve also got her the His Dark Material book set which I’ll borrow when she’s finished. DD2 7 is getting a ‘proper’ art set and a 3D pen which looks lovely too.

Lego

Serin · 05/12/2020 18:07

A gorgeous paint by numbers

XmasLockdown · 05/12/2020 22:05

@SomewhereEast Ds is Lego and Star Wars fan so I enjoy choosing him extra sets. He has his list what he wants but I add couple of extra ones for really like.

gettingolderbutcooler · 05/12/2020 22:20

Guitar hero 😬

Shieldingending · 05/12/2020 22:29

Yes, an oodie. She's wanted one for ages and has no idea! It's being despatched on the 16th so hope it arrives in time!

Barton10 · 06/12/2020 00:10

My daughter one year got a cabbage patch kid - it is still on my bed now. I wanted one in the 1980s but didn’t get one!

beautifulmonument · 06/12/2020 05:49

I got DS a sprocket a couple of years ago that he never used! I've used it a lot though funnily enough!

ActuallyIveGotDental · 06/12/2020 09:20

Yeah, I'm gutted that one of my kids wants the hogwarts express Lego set... I'm the one that collects the Harry Potter Lego!

Mrsfussypants1 · 06/12/2020 09:43

midnight star, the field toy company is currently in stock, free delivery on Amazon, but sells out quickly.

InsufferableLKIA · 06/12/2020 09:58

Yy to the HP Lego!

My 7yo DD’s Hogwarts Express Lego arrived a few days ago and it was all I could do not to open it up and start without her GrinGrin

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 06/12/2020 10:00

My DDs recently absorbed my HP Lego into their collection. I had the Great Hall and the Hogwarts Express.

I really want the castle and Diagon Alley. Just need to win the lottery first.

Ginormarse · 06/12/2020 10:05

Yes! My youngest DS is getting the playmobil Back to the Future Delorean Car. He hasn't asked for it but I love Playmobil. We have tons of it. 2 years ago he had the Ghost busters Hq and car. Eventually it will all go up in the loft to keep for future grandchildren.

Mrshaych · 06/12/2020 22:50

I got my youngest son a rizmo cause it reminds me so much of a furby that I had when I was his age, can't wait to 'help' him with it 🤣😂

Sweetener12 · 07/12/2020 08:12

I got my niece a Photodiva subscription and spent a whole day "teaching" her different photo editing tricks, while in fact enjoying it myself. Also not me but my mom got me a doll with longish hair and a whole pack of hair accessories and then she was always eager to play with me and my doll whenever I asked her to Grin Which makes me believe she got me a present she secretly wanted herself. Can't blame her, though. I was 7 back then and it was a good opportunity!

SoMuchToBits · 07/12/2020 15:08

@Ginormarse my ds is now 20 and no longer interested in Playmobil. So I just buy it for myself! Grin
