Best smelling Christmas candle?

I’m on the hunt for a lovely Christmas candle, one that smells of spices/frankincense type smells. A proper rich Christmas smell if you get what I mean. I can’t stand any that purport to smell of fir trees (usually smell like toilet cleaner to me!) or anything cinnamon-y.

Any suggestions? I’m willing to pay probably what people would consider a ridiculous amount on a decent candle if I can find the right scent, but I just can’t find any that I think smell nice!

Not spicy but i love the candy cane forest yankee candle just smell exactly like christmas to me

One of the Diptyque holiday range - probably not the green one if you don't like pine, but the blue or red holder (sorry, can't remember names)

I love nice candles, and spend a small fortune on lovely wax melts from a small independent shop.

But my favourite one by far, that always reminds me of Xmas for some reason, is a Glade Honey and Chocolate candle that you get from home bargains or the range for about £2. It is not sweet of sickly smelling, it’s just nice.

Agree with @sarge89 although I have bought some wax melt Winter dupes on eBay and I have to say they're pretty good for everyday burning leaving the Winter candle for evenings.

I had feu de bois today lit whilst working. love it!

I like a Bath and Body Works candle at Christmas, 'Tis the Season is my favourite but I've got a Frosted Cranberry one I had as a present last year I have high hopes for.

I have 'Tis the Season and Spiced Gingerbread on order which will probably get put away for next year.

Another vote for White Company Winter, I also like White Company Fir (perfect if you don't have a real tree!)

I was so excited to smell the White Company Winter candle but smelt it before lockdown and didn't like it at all. I was gutted. I got their Highland Escape candle instead.

I love the Diptyque Myrrhe candle, if you are looking for something more Midnight Mass than freshly cut Christmas tree.

Candy cane lane by Yankee is my favourite but I don’t think they make it anymore, I have bought a similar smelling one in home bargains as well as their gingerbread candle which smells amazing.

I love yankees however Home Bargains do a lovely gingerbread one in a jar dead cheap but has a fantastic throw on it.
Honestly rivals more expensive ones.

I loved Candy Cane Lane too by Yankee. I really love Christmas cookie by Yankee but it's quite sweet so not everyone's cup of tea and All is Bright. I'm interested to read what other recommendations are, I love a good candle!

@MrsMiaWallis yep. I've recommended to two people who have bought and both loved them. They do wax melts but I haven't tried those yet!

Lumos Apothecary and Nikola Candela do amazing candles. I discovered them through my iggy box subscription. They do minis you can try to check smell before getting a big one.
