Best smelling Christmas candle?

I’m on the hunt for a lovely Christmas candle, one that smells of spices/frankincense type smells. A proper rich Christmas smell if you get what I mean. I can’t stand any that purport to smell of fir trees (usually smell like toilet cleaner to me!) or anything cinnamon-y.

Any suggestions? I’m willing to pay probably what people would consider a ridiculous amount on a decent candle if I can find the right scent, but I just can’t find any that I think smell nice!

Another vote for Winter by The White Company. It’s gorgeous!

I’ve had a sniff of Winter at White Company and it doesn’t do it for me. I quite like their Noir though but it’s not massively ‘Christmassy’ if you get me?

Diptyque Pomander is very Christmassy.
I’ve got a Jo Loves candle in my advent that I opened to smell which is also lovely. It’s simply called Christmas.

They do a Christmas range which should certainly hit the traditional notes you are wanting. We've got Gabriel currently and it's beautiful.

I got a Yankee Christmas Eve one year and it is always my Christmassy go to candle.

Son and DIL bought me a Woodwick Trilogy candle a few years ago for Christmas, Don’t know if it has a name but the scents are Sonoma sunset, Pumpkin Butter and Apple crisp.
It smells amazing, defiantly warm and crisp at the same time, now That to me is Christmas in a jar!

Another woodwick one I have that smells similar but is softer but more crisp is Snowberry, I alternate between the two.

Candy cane lane by Yankee is my favourite but I don’t think they make it anymore, I have bought a similar smelling one in home bargains as well as their gingerbread candle which smells amazing.

They still do this in Asda saw it a few weeks ago, it’s also online.

MUJI Wood Smoke candle. Exactly the same as Feu de Bois at a fraction of the cost.

White company ‘Winter’ or ‘Fir Tree’ and Jo Malone Orange Bitters are my go to festive candles.

Agree with *@sarge89* although I have bought some wax melt Winter dupes on eBay and I have to say they're pretty good for everyday burning leaving the Winter candle for evenings.

Which seller did you use please?

I love jo Malone and Yankee candles but I bought the glade candy cane one and I LOVE it! So nice and Christmassy but fresh smelling too

Has anyone tried the Stoneglow (Lakeland Ltd) Nutmeg Ginger and Spice candle?

I tried the White Stuff Winter candle (only because I had a discount) not one that wowed me TBH

We use Neals Yard oils in an electric burner ( cats and flames , not a good match) .

Not sure if they do a Christmas scene but I have just bought a WoodWick candle and it crackles as it burns! It sounds like an open fire and is so relaxing and Christmassy, I LOVE it 🎄
