please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

Anyones kids play fortnite. If they make a purchase on the game you can get 2 free months disney plus. Perfect to get you through the next two cold months. We have 2 fortnite accounts so will cancel disney at end of the two months and then set up in the other name for another 2 months

So I thought the chocolate biscuits tasted too 'healthy' but my 2 and 5 year olds loved them. We all liked the cinnamon pancakes - maybe the nutella hid the health factor!

[quote NoWordForFluffy]@Elphaba17, I have a £3 off £30, but it might be specific to DH's Nectar card. I'll PM it if you want to try?[/quote]
Yes, that would be great if you didn't mind. It's an item on DDs list that has just come back into stock this morning so psychologically a discount is needed when you're unexpectedly £50 poorer lol

NoWordForFluffy · 14/11/2020 08:55

It's 5x Nectar points at the moment, so make sure your card is linked!

I'll PM shortly!

You are are an absolute star, thank you so much again. So happy to see argos restocked some of the designafriend range this morning and even better to get it with a discount. I had been having a midweek panic about having to buy it vastly overpriced on Ebay so this is a big relief.

Don't you just love it when your weekend gets off to a great start Smile

JustanotherTuesday · 14/11/2020 09:09

@WreckTangled
Thanks for your help Smile
I'm going to check out your suggestions.
I always used to make him up a hamper with American sweets and chocolate Obviously he can't have that now so I wanted to get as nice as chocolate as possible.

Newnamedillydally · 14/11/2020 09:12

Can anyone recommend a cheese shop that delivers to send as a gift?

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 14/11/2020 09:13

Has anyone found a sellotape alternative that works on the brown Kraft paper? My wrapping has been coming undone 😩

Hophop26 · 14/11/2020 09:15

I have an Argos code:

£5 off £40.

tinyradish · 14/11/2020 09:17

Really confused by people not liking the cake mixes. Especially the chocolate cookies....we all thought they were absolutely delicious.Confused

RagamuffinCat · 14/11/2020 09:17

I'm eating a banana muffin made with the cake mix as I type, and I think it is lovely! I am used to GF food though so maybe that is why?

LittleSquirrels · 14/11/2020 09:19

@IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts

"Babipur's" tape should work? Have a look on their website they have loads 🥰

yellowsun · 14/11/2020 09:27

Diabetic chocolate - my dad is type 2 and injects. He loves Hotel Chocolat. I get him a mixture of single origin dark choc bars and he likes the batons they do. They last him ages as he just has a little bit!

springlike · 14/11/2020 09:28

@Hophop26 thanks, I used your code

FoolShapeHeart · 14/11/2020 09:29

[quote TheCrow]@FoolShapeHeart the candy cane lights and other lights are in store in Aldi now, they were in-store from Thursday. I saw them when I went for the pastel star lights and really wanted them but I have no outdoor space to put them![/quote]
Ooh thanks! Have to go anyway so hopefully they'll still have them Smile

NoWordForFluffy · 14/11/2020 09:32

@Newnamedillydally, this shop is just down the road from me and they're lovely.

neverbreaks · 14/11/2020 09:36

Here’s an Argos code for £5 off £40 if anyone can make use of it:

@Thedarknightsaredrawingin Yes White company winter candle is lovely. I prefer the fragrance oil which is £8 - I use it on pot pourri - a bowl of pine cones & the scent lasts really well-they have a few smells in the oil now.

Or Zara has jo loves candles for £16. I'm not sure what the scent throw is like as not burned mine yet. Definitely not jo malone, their candles have been pants for a few years now. Byredo collab with Ikea have pretty candles too but again, not much smell from the one I've tried.

She will love the stocking & that she's got such caring friends

JustanotherTuesday · 14/11/2020 09:43

@yellowsun

Thanks, I'll take a look ☺

A lot of flavour in baking comes from butter and eggs. Cakes with margarine aren’t as tasty as cakes with butter.

Vegan baking can be a bit of a nightmare to get a decent flavour.

Martinisarebetterdirty · 14/11/2020 10:01

The Zara and Jo Loves collaboration candles are really lovely - they have a good throw to start with but as they burn down you do need to burn them longer to get the same impact. Definitely worth the money.
