please post any bargain info IN BOLD to make it easier to scroll through the thread.

To make things bold you:
Put a star each side of what you want to make bold like this but without the space between the star and the writing *

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@margaritasbythesea - he’s about to turn 6 so 6-7 I guess. Although on the small side.

Thanks @LiverbirdNo1 - they look great. Am wondering if the 5-6 will be big enough for him. I think that brand is large fitting.

littlestpogo · 13/11/2020 12:50

Oh just seen @lamthesister - thanks for the separates tip too!

caffeineanddryshampoo · 13/11/2020 12:55

Thanks for the Matalan cashback tip off, have ordered 1 xmas pressie and lots of useful boring things we need like duvets. Does the cashback track at a low amount and then get adjusted to the full amount? Says it's £2 cashback when it should be about £40.

TheLastStarfighter · 13/11/2020 13:01

A Buckley tip, for anything that isn't in fiver friday, code THERESEANNE15 gets you 15% off.

There is a bunch of stuff in the SALE including some nice looking bracelets at £6-8 and it works on them (so basically, on anything that isn't £5).

Shipping is free over £40, and they do free returns (apart from earrings).

shash1982 · 13/11/2020 13:03

Not a bargain as such but cheaper than the Disney store.
Asda have toy story and princesses tree decorations at £3 each.
Got the alien and rex. 😊

FireflyGirl · 13/11/2020 13:03

Weeklydeals4less have advent calendars, including McVities biscuits £10, Kellogg's £14, and Barbie and Hot Wheels £8, free delivery.

I haven't used the site before, but it has very good reviews on Trust Pilot.

buckeejit · 13/11/2020 13:07

@Thedarknightsaredrawingin / you must be from NI with that name?!

I'd recommend an electric hot water bottle for your friend, (they are fab) and a book, wine, chocolate or a plant

I'd say a neom candle if you got the qvc offer? Or chocolate - I hear Tony's is supposed to be good but not tried it yet.

Or let us know the kind of things she's into - there's not much luxury you can really get under £20 although peters yard crackers for cheese & some chutney would be nice.

CoffeeAndEnnui · 13/11/2020 13:14

@littlestpogo, there are whales on the gorgeous polar animals PJs from the Whooli Chen for H&M range and they have age 6-8 years in stock. GUTTED they won't fit my DD because they are just stunning!

I have a feeling I read in the small print that the maximum cashback was £25?
TricksyLiesmith · 13/11/2020 13:16

@caffeineanddryshampoo I've had the same issue . Its not tracking the cash back correctly ?

Itsashopportunity · 13/11/2020 13:21

Mine is tracking low too, it did that on TopCashback previously though, and then rose.
However, i was confused by the two cashback things on quidco, one mentioned a maximum of 25 pound cashback. So i made myself trim my basket down to 50 quid.

littlestpogo · 13/11/2020 13:25

@CoffeeAndEnnui - oh my they are gorgeous. They won’t let me add 4-6 Sad. Thinking of trying the 6-8 and a hot wash Grin

H&M are on the small side

You could buy them- try against current pjs and return? Or just keep them to grow into

Pjs are meant to be big- you need to get maximum wear value!

littlestpogo · 13/11/2020 13:32

True willsantabecoming his big brother has the 6-8 side but agree pjs are meant to be big!

Tbh I quite want some in that design Grin

runwithme · 13/11/2020 13:33

@itwasthebestoftimes thank you!

So run out of a clean pair for him tonight so that he has to wear his brothers, that will give you an idea?

Are they H&M- they are on the small side

caffeineanddryshampoo · 13/11/2020 13:37

Doh I read the terms and conditions after I placed the order that £25 was the most cashback you could claim. Have tried cancelling order and then re-ordering and DH order part of it. What a palaver.

littlestpogo · 13/11/2020 13:39

Yes we have existing H&M - agree they are skinny fit so even the bigger size won’t fall down!

I’ve cracked and bought them Grin. I know he will absolutely love them even if big. Many thanks to everyone for suggestions and thanks for mentioning these @CoffeeAndEnnui - honestly they are just perfect for DS!

studentvera · 13/11/2020 13:41

Jacopone · 13/11/2020 14:08

Can someone explain? I don’t understand Tesco site. Haven’t shopped there for years but now wanted to have a look at clothing sale and all it says „Find your nearest store”? Is it not possible to shop online any more?

Rockhopper81 · 13/11/2020 14:13

@Jacopone - nope, no F&F shopping online anymore.

They scrapped Tesco Direct too (for non-grocery shopping), but have bought some non-grocery stuff back into the main Tesco site now.
