Enough with the kids already, what will YOU be asking for??!
Its my bday in December so everyone asks me for a list - I'd love some inspiration...!

All I really, really want is to find a pair of trousers that actually fit. Not much to ask for, surely?!

expatinscotland · 15/10/2007 22:39

a telescope

dyzzidi · 15/10/2007 22:40

I would like the sarah jessica parker 'lovely' giftset. Some new three piece pyjamas and a good book.

brightwell · 16/10/2007 07:27

A loft ladder, I'm sick of having to drag the ladder in from the garage! Also, perfume and possibly a pamper session at the local spa. It's my bday in December, so I know what you mean.

Furball · 16/10/2007 07:31

brightwell - I thought asking for a slow cooker for my birthday was bad but I think your request for a loft ladder tips the scales

World Peace and thin thighs.......

Come to think of it, I am not that bothered by World Peace.

Budababe · 16/10/2007 08:15

lol Bree! World peace very overrated!

I want new teeth! (Am hoping to get veneers)

Tommy · 16/10/2007 08:17

I'd really, really like a good night's sleep

that's all - not much to ask is it?

JARM · 16/10/2007 08:17

I have a simple list this year...

Chris Moyles new book
Sharon Osbourne new book
Richard Hammond book

and if im an exceptionally good girl, a pair of GHD's but im not holding my breath for those.

GreatHauntieWurly · 16/10/2007 08:23

oooh I want the Richard Hammond book aswell JARM, as well as the new martina cole book and £200 for a massage couch but I will settle for the books.

wheelybug · 16/10/2007 08:24

A new bag (I always want a new bag for either christmas or birthday) - I have a choice of 2 for DH - the one I really want and then the one I might get .

A few weeks ago DH did ask me if I would be persuaded to go away for the weekend without dd, as a Christmas present, and I said I'd really like to go to Pompeii before vesuvius erupted again. DH hasn't meantioned this again so presumably not the answer he was looking for !

Not sure other than that. There will be a list of books and I'm sure I'll think of some other bits and pieces.

LazyLinePUMPKINJane · 16/10/2007 11:33

Loads of books. Millions. And a kitchenaid. Yeah right.

Nbg · 16/10/2007 11:39

Some GHD's
A nice new sparkly ring from dh when I have the baby
Some new shoes and clothes

Not much really.

Othersideofthechannel · 16/10/2007 20:17

What are GHDs?

yomellamoHelly · 16/10/2007 21:25

Some posh drinking chocolate - i.e. chocolate flakes! I may not share

PregnantGrrrl · 17/10/2007 08:24

i'm giving DH a wish list, because every year he forgets what i like, and leaves shopping until the last week.

this year:

funky wellies and gardening gloves
Clinique Happy perfume
Sanctuary or lush smellies
Red or green converse
Couple of books i fancy

we've got £100 max on each other.

allhallows · 17/10/2007 08:27

hair extensions. I have very fine hair.

donnie · 17/10/2007 18:09

I really want a housecoat.

IfYouCanKeepYourHead · 18/10/2007 13:14

Right, so far I have a posh laundry bag, some matching pjs for DD and me (for christmas eve), and a few books.
Hmmm a bit bloody depressing, as a career girl it was all filofax this, blackberry that, smart bags and suits e.t.c.....

Last year DH got me a personal shopper, but not sure I need one for jeans and a cardi!

StripeyKnickersSpottySocks · 18/10/2007 14:34

New trainers

pigletmaker · 18/10/2007 18:46

a pain free fast and unmessy birth of a healthy beautiful baby followed by my body springing back into shape, correction - springing back into its former 18 yr old glory of 20 yrs ago. And some chocolate would be nice.

pirategirl · 18/10/2007 23:12

wheely @ you and vesuvius

do you want the money is no object list or the actual list?

the actual list is dull as a dull thing and the money is no object list is just plain daft!
