Its my bday in December so everyone asks me for a list - I'd love some inspiration...!

Another birthday in December here.
I want a decent alarm clock that I can plug my iPod into. I detest waking up to cheesy pop/dance and people that are tooo chirpy in the morning.

babyblue2 · 19/10/2007 20:45

Not much on my list at the mo.

Chris Moyles new book
Daisy (perfume) by Marc Jacobs
Nice underwear

I just like everyone to have a nice time really, DD's enjoying themselves and behaving, DH happy, my mum and dad happy and lunch going well = me happy.

surfermum - i just got some uggs from www.taylorshoes.com for what works out at about £75 with the £ so strong against the $. have used the several times before and well recommend them.

just in case you want them to arrive for xmas point it out to dh!!

TenderheartBear · 19/10/2007 21:59

i want a house elf
some new dkny jeans as i've worn mine out nearly..
and a footspa ('cause i've always wanted one)

Dandelion1 · 20/10/2007 17:30

Ifyoucankeepyourhead - have a look at the website www.whatidlove.co.uk you can create a personal list of things on there and when someone asks you what you want...send them the link (with the list number) and they can buy you a gift from the list (saves having to remember what you said to whom!).

If you find a good place to buy something (like the ugg boots Tenderheart mentioned) you can go to the site she mentioned, find what you want and copy and paste it to your list on the Whatidlove site.

So you can add anything from anywhere and saves everyone so much time, money and effort looking for something you may not want.

It great for kids too, my DS (16!!) has had a great birthday this year. He made the list and as a result got lots of things he really wanted for a change - I didn't have a clue what to get him or advise family he'd like (and he did all the work!) Its free to use too. Family were so pleased to have it so easy!

I'm starting my list now so I'm looking for inspiration, I might be putting some ugg boots on there, a Cashmere cardigan would be nice and I'd love the album of John Mayer ..but I don't know what its called yet

unknownrebelbang · 20/10/2007 17:34

Blardy big fluffy earmuffs.

Minum · 21/10/2007 08:30

House elf + 1

And an adult (ish) Christmas would be lovely, but not a chance

HappyMummyOfOne · 22/10/2007 09:28

I've asked DH for a new handbag - a radley one from Debenhams - its gorgeous and I have admired it for a few months now but cant justify buying it when I can get a bag from Next for a 1/5th of the price! But as a Christmas pressie I wont feel guilty

Also asked for a bottle of Kenzo flowers as its my favourite and i've only got a small amount left.

Hubby detests shopping so my list has to be items that can be bought online. He usually just puts a document on the desktop and asks me to put my wishlist on it.

mrsboden · 10/12/2007 22:18

If you want Uggs, i found a great website that sells geunine ones - www.paradehome.co.uk for genuine Ugg Australia ones.
