Hotel chocolat velvetiser

Anyone with a velvetiser, how do you store the chocolate sachets? The boxes are getting out of control and taking up loads of room.

It's been about ten days since I ordered my velvetiser and I'm feeling a little impatient

@eatprayyoga I also haven't received mine, which was bought as a gift. I've seen a few people say the same. Out of interest what colour did you order? I'm wondering if there's a problem with the stock of one...

We've had ours since last Christmas, we usually use Green and Blacks in it.

Yes 17th when it was the Today's Special Value. They said 7-10 days somewhere. I'm now wondering whether they said 7-10 working days!

I imagine the copper was the most popular?! I was tempted by the White too but I am yet do up my kitchen so it was hard to decide!

We bought my charcoal one direct from HC at the same time you were buying from QVC. HC were saying the copper was out of stock at the time, so maybe there has been a delay? (Now saying in stock).

Oh that's interesting Teen as they have said it will be sent directly from HC. They're not coming from QVC at all. It's annoying to have no tracking information/

My velvetiser arrived today

Yes I tried it immediately! It's great. Easy to set up, easy to clean and the hot chocolate was lovely, just like when you buy in their cafes

Just bought one of these and not 100%, sure about it yet. Lovely little machine, was hoping it would do hot chocolate for daughter and coffee for me. So far tried the white chocolate which was lovely, ginger which was awful. The latte was too sweet for me but DH and DD liked so not a problem. I tried making an instant coffee in it and it looked lovely but the froth left a coating in my mouth which I didn't like. Thinking about trying half milk half water. Also has anyone got recommendations on other hot chocolate to use.

No recommendations yet, but you can buy a selection box, 1 each of 10 flavours.

The whittards one is quite nice, a bit sweeter than HC

I also got the qvc offer so have the selectionjust seem expensive to keep buying the sachet. . Whittards look to do a good selection so might try those.

Pendragon do hot chocolate flakes in all sorts of flavours, cheaper than the sachets and delicious.

Sorry to jump in.. but does anyone have any good current deals for these? Looking at treating myself for Christmas.

Or will it be worth waiting for Black Friday deals?

Ps, i bought the velvitizer when it first came out and its been one of my favourite buys, but i have to say im tempted to buy this version as a gift for someone.
