It could be a voucher but n my account, but if so then I don’t know what - I already spent my prime-day credit against a monitor-stand.

I went to the Show 8 in charcoal (in the app), under additional items click through “see your Echo show 8 screen from more angles” - cluck “add to order”, it takes you back to the first screen and show with the addition item ticked, then add to basket. If I go to my basket it shows as £59.99, but then if I go to checkout it has applied £15 of discount (under “promotion applied”) taking it down to £49.99.

I can’t guarantee it will add the stand, because it doesn’t actually show separately in the basket, but it is very similar to what it did last year on prime day with Echos and smart plugs, and I was surprised and pleased when everything was delivered.

My turtle doves gloves just arrived - they were lucky dip but I emailed and asked if I could get a neutral colour if possible, and got a beige colour. Perfect! Great service and fab to support a “green” charity.

JessicaJoans · 13/10/2020 15:26

And I’ve spent a small fortune on prime day bargains - looking forward to playing “don’t get got” with my children (and told my husband to get me exploding kittens while they were cheap too).

mummyof2boys30 · 13/10/2020 15:32

For x2 ds age 8 and 10. Looking fitbit style watch. Do i go for a xiaomi mi band or the cheapest fit bit on todays prime deals.

GazingAndGrazing · 13/10/2020 15:34

A couple more Lego sets have been added to the prime deals including the technics remote control monster truck which is almost half price, was tempted to get it for dd but it’s controlled by a mobile phone app and she doesn’t have a phone (she’s autistic and I don’t fancy her using mine). I got her the crane/truck this morning, could do with couple more sets as Lego’s the only thing I can really buy her. With keeping an eye on the deals as they keep adding more.

YourHandInMyHand · 13/10/2020 15:41

Not at all Christmas related but I've just bought this. Lightning deal for prime day and it took my £10 credit off. The reviews for it are fab and me and DS1 were saying at the weekend we needed a new torch/lantern so perfect timing.

YourHandInMyHand · 13/10/2020 15:42

So it only cost me £7.59! Smile

MsMiaWallace · 13/10/2020 15:45

Large Yankee Candle jar Christmas cookie £13.99 from Yankee Bundles.

Lots of other good Yankee deals in here too.

TheDrsDocMartens · 13/10/2020 15:46

Amazon won’t let me buy any more bargain Alexas. Bought two recently and a plug. Wanted one more + plug for dh

InglouriousBasterd · 13/10/2020 15:59

Not sure if it’s been mentioned but

Claire’s 50% off today and can be stacked with promo code 2W3Q for extra 30% off

suneetime · 13/10/2020 16:00

Quidco are offering cashback if you're buying any Amazon devices. Not a massive amount, but it all adds up and Quidco hardly ever seem to offer any cashback for Amazon.

mummyof2boys30 · 13/10/2020 16:16

Barbie chelsea camper van 21.99 amazon prime deal. I got it for 11.99 using my 10 credit 😁

CoffeeAndEnnui · 13/10/2020 16:20

Has anyone seen a WH Smith code better than the 10% offered for signing up to their newsletter? Just found a thing I didn't know we needed until this moment and now I cannot live without it!

Thank you, just bought DN a few little bits and a few stocking fillers for dd.
Mamagotskills · 13/10/2020 16:43

@InglouriousBasterd, do you know if the code is one-time use? I'm trying to use it but it won't accept it
TheCrow · 13/10/2020 16:56

@whoknows1230 I put some stuff in my basket and applied the code, it only seemed to count towards some items and not others. All of the items were in the sale though

TheCrow · 13/10/2020 16:58

@whoknows1230 although the code looked like a 'welcome back' code so might have been one use. I didn't use it personally

Lemming20 · 13/10/2020 17:01

For any vegan friends or family (or in fact any who like sweets) this gift box of candy kittens is pretty much half price sweets

supercee · 13/10/2020 17:03

@Mamagotskills Same. And it wasn't even a Prime Day deal!

Bananasplease · 13/10/2020 17:03

@Whoknows1230 The Claire’s code worked for me.

Just to counteract the Amzon love, a gentle reminder about the tax and employee welfare issues, the demise of independent book shops and the insane amount of money Amazon made through lockdown. Something might only cost a little extra somewhere other than Amzon but that purchase might make a big difference to a business.

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/Christmas/4034228-Independent-online-shops

I know some products are only available via Amazon, some people are not going out and find Amazon convenient and others need to maximise their budget so I'm not having a go. I don't know anyone's circumstances and I'm not judging.
