the one on the littlefishtoys.com website...........

Approx Size: 24cm H x 47cm D x 33cm W
Seat Height: 22cm

you need to be careful, though, cos there are 2 different sizes.

emkana · 12/10/2007 17:17

thank you very much for that!

QuootieSpookypie · 12/10/2007 17:19

oh nappyaddict it's you! Just popped this onto my watch list, DS (18 months now) loves trains/cars and is just able to put his trains onto his tracks now, so I am geting him a wooden set for Christmas. Instruments are great aswell.

WendyWeber · 12/10/2007 22:36

this looks the same as the one flier linked to and is the same style as the lightweight plastic one we had - will be a bit heavier though. It says seat height 8".

(They do normally have a pretty low seat, emkana - DS1 had very short legs as a toddler (longer than Sebastian's probabaly but not by much )

WendyWeber · 12/10/2007 22:39

Oh no, the wheels are different. Same style of trike though

DavidTennantsMistress · 13/10/2007 08:31

have you thought of the fisher price trike with a basket on the front?

DS had one last xmas before he could walk, it started with us pushing him about but also the legs separate and you can have it as a sturdy walker as there a leg either side of baby iycwim.

nappyaddict · 13/10/2007 09:02

is that the one with a face on the front?

that's the one about £30. it's annoying the tune but worth it - DS still loves his one at 19 months

nappyaddict · 14/10/2007 10:35

if its the one with the balls in the basket i think we already have it.

We got this for dd, I know it says 6months + but dd still loves playing with it (17months) and ds (4yrs) loves it as well!

Sorry meant to put in my post that its the Fisher Price Amazing Animals Music and Motion Choo Choo Train

nappyaddict · 14/10/2007 16:32

oh i have seen that. was thinking about getting it for my niece whos 7 months. how does it work? do they have to press buttons for it to move or does it move by itself iyswim?

You press the green funnel thing and it plays a song and moves along, there's also a yellow button thing on the side that does animal noises. The animals are really cute as well. As I said both ds and dd love it so whether you brought it for your neice or ds either one of them would love it. My friend thinks it's great and she's going to get it for her ds's 1st birthday.

ontherocks · 14/10/2007 17:15

Sorry just read back my explanation, not very good at describing it am I?!

nappyaddict · 15/10/2007 00:13

how far does the train move when you press the funnel? do you have to keep pressing the funnel if you want it to carry on moving after it has stopped? that would be fine for my ds but i think that's too advanced for my niece. i was hoping that you would just turn it on and it would move along by itself.
