What does your 11 year old boy want?

I have no idea - neither does he.

He has a PS4 - not interested in a PS5, has a phone, has a laptop and an iPad through school!, has a scooter, bike, outdoor basketball hoop, cricket set. Not into Lego.

He’s always difficult to buy for but this year - I’m stumped! I’ll get some clothes and a new football but otherwise, no idea.

Would love some tips.

Gaming chair?

Mine is 10 and wants a Lego Mandalorian (Star Wars) set. I will probably also get him a couple of PS4 games (trollhunters/Minecraft dungeons), not sure what else yet.

What about an experience type gift e.g. trip to Harry Potter studio tour, animal experience at a local zoo/safari park?

Mine is after an electric scooter but I am not keen on that at all.

Today, he has been talking about roller boots.

My slightly older boy wants a mini fridge!!

My boys would love a mini fridge but i fear they would never leave their rooms lol

Mine wants Rollerblades and a Mario Lego set. Maybe a video game too but he's got lots on Xbox game pass.

DS also wants a mini fridge but other than that he has no idea and neither do I! He has everything 🙈

I think I’ll get him a surf skateboard as he spends most of his time playing out in the cul de sac and all the children seem to be skaters. He already has a normal one and a pennyboard though so I’m not sure it’s necessary.

I’m going to get him some teddy bear bedding as he wanted some when we moved house but it was summer so would have been too hot.

I’ll probably get him one of the smaller Harry Potter lego sets to add to his collection, some of the Vans Simpsons clothes and he always needs new kits for his many hobbies 🙈. It doesn’t seem very exciting though!

Mine does want a ps5, but it will be shared with his older DB if they get one, and it's a big IF. He hasn't mentioned anything else though

A pc and an oculus quest (virtual reality thing), he's not getting both!

Mine want wireless gaming headphones but also like cold hard cash.

He is getting a Fitbit kids For Christmas.

I am amazed what some kids have. He doesn’t have a phone, x box, PlayStation, Nintendo or anything like that. We live very rurally so maybe he is young for his age. We have one friend whose DD has a phone, the rest don’t.

Mine (10) wants a PS5 but if he weren't having that it would be:

He'll be having a new dryrobe from grandparents. For his birthday he had Steel Series headphones/ mouse/ keyboard.

I take some of the posted shopping plans on these threads with a hefty pinch of salt! And even if they are all 100% true, who cares, nothing embarrassing about not having the money or desire to spend like that on Xmas or anything else :)

Thanks both Our kids never make a fuss but they are definitely short changed in terms of gifts compared to many on here.

On the other hand, they seem very happy so we must be doing something right. Must stop reading threads like this - they do make me feel a bit inadequate at times

Some ideas we've had for DS who is 12. He won't be getting all of them.

Abercrombie & Fitch hoodie. He's not a label lover but they are very soft and snuggly which he likes.

Ds who will be 12 by Christmas, would like

I always read these threads and think I should buy more but mine never complain and enjoy what they have.

If he has ps4, doesn't he want any games?

My DS is 11 in a few weeks and is getting a VR for his playstation for his birthday
For Christmas he would love a gaming chair. I also think ear buds would go down well but it depends how much the chair costs.
He also likes vouchers for the playstation store. I'm pretty stumped for bits and bobs as he doesn't need anything and really doesn't play with toys or his lego anymore and never asks for anything in particular!
