I thought Santa Claus was responsible for this!
Are you lot saying that it is you who buy and wrap the presents?
This might explain why I haven't seen any presents at the foot of my bed since I left home 28 years ago.
I'd better check my chimney too - it must be chock-a-block with unopened letters to S-C.
I thought he was just being bloody miserable or I had been very naughty (I hadn't).
