Hi! Ive emptied all my hiding spots and downloaded the gift list app to put in all the little presents I've squirreled away for Christmas and I already have loads for my girls!

All mostly bought at half price or less (my dd1s main gift is the harry potter clock tower set I paid £30 for!)There's been some v good offers on and I've been lucky on second hand sites too!

Anyone else as crazy as me and already nearly done for their children's Christmas presents? (My daughters are 11 & 8 + fairly consistent in their interests - dd1 lego and collectible figures, dd2 dolls... dolls and more dolls 😂)

For the inevitable complainers about how early... ive posted in the christmas topic where I'm sure the like minded individuals are 😂

Not started buying yet but downloaded my usual Xmas gift list app and begun adding ideas for both dc. Also browsing the Xmas board here for inspiration and bargains Smile I normally start buying in September as buying little and often suits my budget better than a mass shop in Nov/Dec!

I bought my first Christmas pressie of the year today! Determined to be more organised this year with all things festive. I love it so much but do get myself into a last minute pickle since DD was born (she’s 4 this year so no excuse!)

Picked up some summer clothes in H&M in next year’s size for DD and a cardi for DSD13. We did a lot of browsing so I’ve a few good ideas for stocking fillers which I often struggle with for DSD.

Ooh I love Maileg mice!

I haven't particularly been looking for Christmas presents but I've bought a couple of things while shopping ordinarily, simp!y because there are so many fantastic bargains ATM. I bought DH a really nice Viyella jumper for half price for example and a lovely Zara bracelet for my niece with 25% off. A lot of sale stuff can be a bit naff but I think there are proper reductions this year.

Not this year, I'm moving (hopefully) in early November so don't want extra things. Also worrying about how to do Christmas due to divorce. Will happily join in your joys though, I miss little kids Christmas's my adult DD's cost me more but presents are boring

No! But I've had 3 birthdays this week including 2 milestone ones.

I start thinking about Xmas in September when term starts.

I'm impressed with your planning though!

I’m jealous of you organised types!
Our ds’s are 14 and 12 and always change their minds right up to the last minute!

Guilty!

My DS will be 14 months so won't have a clue what is happening, but at least this year he can do more than eat and sleep. I may be a bit too excited!

So far, I've mainly been getting the stuff to see us through future christmases like a personalised christmas eve box, Santa plate and Santa sack. I've also got him a toot toot car for his stocking and a pull along turtle that has a xylophone on its back.

I've started squirreling a few items away. mainly for stocking presents. I've also bought a lot of yarn as I'm crocheting them big snuggly blankets and a cuddly toy each.

My DD will also be 14 months this year and I’ve no idea what to expect of her. I’m sure I can more than make up for her lack of excitement! Grin

Apart from a few bits that only come out at Christmas I'm finished! 😂 knowing I was gonna be on maternity pay was my motivation to get organised and finished early this year

My DD is 7 just before Christmas so when Frozen: The Musical theatre tickets became available in Feb/March I got some for January 2nd. I was so pleased with myself. Just get a few small Frozen themed presents for Christmas and then her Christmas present was done. Obviously Covid has happened and the performance has been moved to June. I feel now that the theatre trip is so far away from Christmas (esp for a 7 year old) that I need to get her something more substantial now.

The first time I try to get planned and organised early and then this happens.

Got stocking presents covered and books (the book people closing down sale helped massively) but I’m not getting big presents til much later. The last couple of years I’ve made a list of what to get and sticking to it otherwise I’d start early and keep on going, not really save any money and the kids end up with an obscene amount of stuff they never even look at.

You’re so it crazy. Nieces, nephews and grandparents bought for. My eldest is bought for bar a couple of things - we wait until nearer the time to see what he really wants and buy it then. I have a few things for 1 year old, bug nothing major to buy nearer the time as I’ve no idea what to get him. He only turned 1 this week!

I follow the Christmas threads and buy ahead each year, j closing for birthdays so it’s always largely done for me around this time of year.

Not yet but I have started thinking. My 11 year old I have come up with loads of ideas. I'm struggling with the other two. The stuff my 9 year old wants will all be fairly pricey and my 8 year old always wants to same as her sister (the 11 yo) but also, she isnt as easily pleased as her sister Grin.

I think this year will be a struggle.
