Morning all,
Thanks Boots, I tried that "where are you from" test - it had me from Dublin mostly, strongly Galway, and when I kept going, added strength to Cork/Waterford. I grew up in 1 of those, my parents are both from another (and we now live there), and I know lots of people from and have holidayed in the 3rd.
For the growers (Fluffy, Crazy et al), it's miserable here too - but not terribly heavy, just that soft rain that is good for the plants (much needed!). Our butt was almost empty.
MrsMad, Bob and DM do look comfy and happy relaxed on the couch!! Sometimes you DO just need a bit of pud. It's Thursday, so our weekly "treat" of fresh bread from the local artisan bakery arrived (after breakfast, so morning coffee will be nice!!). You need to order 2 days ahead (really 3 because you can order after 4pm when order for the previous day stop, and it's often run out before the morning of the 2 days before), but we had been enjoying it even before lockdown as an occasional treat, and it's good to have something to enjoy and support local.
70s keep away from QVC - give DH a list of things to go looking at his leisure to surprise you for your birthday/Christmas instead!!
Hopefully the planning for school can now go gently on for the DCs Neros and Wonderful.
Fair play to your DH for doing haircuts Wreck - DH needed it done here and effort 1 was roundly criticised, but round 2 went at a more relaxed time and he was less uptight about it, so the results were somewhat better (but I still don't have a 2nd career beckoning as a barber!
).
Good luck to DSis Chocolate on keeping on "living despite".
We had a discussion over breakfast in our house about the "Laundry fairy" and the lack of appreciation for their workload Cherry - DH was getting insulted as DD was assuming it was me (in fairness, while I do some, DH gets to the basket ahead of me about 75% of the time to get it sorted and in the machine, and he likes to fold it while watching a movie once a week - I get plenty of other chances to do chores!).
I'd better go and get stuck into my real work, a bit like Wreck it's quite boring at the moment, but I'm trying for "1 bite at a time" approach to get some progress.
I'll post my progress from last night below (I have to do that from the phone). I just need the red handle on the screwdriver now - I may do a few more toolkit marks as there are a load of men who do DIY in the family!!
