My Dd 4 has played the most with these strechey magnetic men my mother got her.
Though the signing frozen dolls have also been a hit.

Chatty Charlie furreal dog was played with for about 10 mins and is now under the tree looking neglected.

DD7 loved her toroidz rings from FC and her spy kit from her grandparents.

TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 · 27/12/2019 12:41

As much as I dislike them LOL dolls. They've been dresses, undressed, redressed, dunked in hot and cold water, acted out many a home situation, gone shopping, taken a drive in a playmobile car and so much more.

DD 5 yrs old loves the little buggers.

I just need to plant a dozen trees now to make up for all the plastic wrapping.

dementedma · 27/12/2019 12:51

A weighted sleep blanket for DD1, an Isle of Harris Gin set for DD2, and a funky print of a Bass Guitar for DS.

CosmoK · 27/12/2019 13:09

DS (5) has played non stop with some cheap plastic soldiers....while dressed as a soldier in a cheap outfit bought from the local market. He's very easily pleased!

DC1 - PS4
DC2 - 'professional' markers
DC3 - Fisher Price cash register

17caterpillars1mouse · 27/12/2019 13:28

Dd3 loves her dumbo hot water bottle. Strange child

Dd1 loves the boxes

WendyMoiraAngelaDarling · 27/12/2019 13:34

Ds - Stranger Things Lego set.

Dd - Benson and Woody from Toy Story two pack figure set that I had to send for the U.S for.

Me - The chocolatiers table box from Hotel Chocolat. The sheer extravagance and luxury of it was overwhelming. I never would have imagined anyone appreciating me enough to get me that.

Lazer X. The main gift for all 3 of our D.C. (10,10 and 5) and they’ve spent hours running about outside playing since Christmas morning. Massive hit.

And DC1 also loves his lock picking kit.

TheGriffle · 27/12/2019 13:41

Dd1 who is 6 has played with her lite brite most of all so far, but washed her scruff a love this morning and really enjoyed that so we will see if the novelty wears off once it’s dried.

Dd2 who is 2 is enjoying her remote control car and a second hand boat that wasn’t a present but was in a bag to take to their grandparents house but she’s not letting out of her sight yet.

ParkheadParadise · 27/12/2019 13:49

A massive bloody Unicorn (thanks Sis). Woke up at 3am with dd(4) getting in our bed carrying the Stupid thing. Spent the rest of the night hanging off the bed as DH,DD and the unicorn all slept.

grumpypug · 27/12/2019 13:55

My DCs have enjoyed a kalimba, Nintendo switch and another bloody nerf gun!

shreddednips · 27/12/2019 13:56

DS (1) got a little cart full of coloured wooden blocks. He is delighted with it and I've been able to finish a cup of tea for the first time in what feels like months while he lovingly pushes it around and unloads and reloads it.

Also popular are megabloks and a bead rollercoaster, but nothing quite tops the cart. Interestingly, he got lots of noisy toys with batteries and flashing lights but isn't so keen on them, I'm secretly rather pleased he likes the simpler ones.

LadyCop · 27/12/2019 13:58

5 year old likes his Lotso teddy and Bo Beep doll (Toy Story) and his Peanuts soft toys and books (massive Charlie Brown and Snoopy fan).

Although he was very unsure at first, he now loves his vtech watch, especially the fitness tracker and voice recorder.

12 year old likes her bedroom makeover, and has spent most of her time since Xmas in there rearranging things.

The Christmas Eve board game, and the "make your own snow" packets were both big hits.

MrsBungle · 27/12/2019 14:00

Both my dc got an echo dot which they’re both really enjoying.
Ds is on his third day of wearing his football kit and dd got —fake— AirPods which she loves

NeverTwerkNaked · 27/12/2019 14:02

Oh and DD (age 6) has made me read her the Winnie the witch Christmas book at least 30 times already!

TheReluctantCountess · 27/12/2019 14:02

Ds (13) has absolutely loved playing on his Nintendo Switch. It’s an expensive gift, but he saved up half towards it over the past year, so he was really looking forward to getting it, and it has not disappointed Smile

SeasonallySnowyPeasant · 27/12/2019 14:09

DS (9) - V-bucks for Fortnite and tickets to a football match

DD (7) - a keyboard. With headphones, thanks goodness.

LoonyLunaLoo · 27/12/2019 17:21

DS (10) loves his racing BMX, penny board and Apple Watch best. And Dobble which I grabbed on offer in Asda at the last minute!

DH loves his XBox one and DS is loving having inherited DH’s PS4 to put on his room. I’m loving the peace 😊
