I've been cooking since 8.30am and everyone is suitably impressed with my efforts. I doubt anyone will say if there is something missing.

DH is a top list writer and hasn't missed anything before. Always a first time but tbh my feet hurt and I don't care now .

Thank you, Tesco had no chocolate and neither did Sainsbury in Birmingham. Will try local local petrol station.

Sausage rolls made. Trifle made. We've had lunch and washed up. I've got a gammon to boil then glaze. We've got potatoes and veg and sauce to go with the gammon.

We've got a chicken to roast for tomorrow. We've got all the veg and gravy making ingredients. I've made bread sauce. We've got stuffing, cranberry sauce. We've got chipolata sausages and streaky bacon to make sausages in bacon.

We've got champagne and still wine. We've got Christmas pudding and cream and custard.

We've got spirits and mixers. We've got peanuts and crisps and prawns and salmon.

All presents wrapped. Cards long since sent/received.

Yep, got crackers the pulling kind from ASDA a week ago. Box of 12 for £3. Spending anymore than that and you've missed the point IMO.

One thing I have forgot to buy this year is random presents. I usually have a stash if neighbour sends present and have to give back lol

@Molly123456 the Sainsburys petrol station had loads of tubs of chocolate, I think they keep them out the back and keep restocking.

I thought I'd done well and forgot nothing but just reading another thread on here and realised I've forgot Yorkshire puddings! I could make my own but I know many people say they don't belong on Xmas dinner anyway so I'm not going to bother and I can't be arsed.
