Apparently, that I don't have a time machine! Rapidly culling my list of things that are actually achievable in the hours before tomorrow. Nearly didn't book today off work - extremely glad I did!

Satsumas and peanuts. I'm sure I put them on the shopping order, but I've checked and they aren't on the list. Not bothering to go out just for those though.

Crackers, the kids are going to be gutted. Going to send dh up the loft to have a rummage see if any left from last year!

I realised, after the girls' dad had been to Lidl for me, at about 4pm that I haven't bought a pudding dd2 will eat.

Hopefully she won't notice & will be too busy with chocolate!

I've got a sinking feeling I'll run out of paracetamol and be reduced to swigging Calpol.

Loads apparently but I don't know what yet. Even DH said the fridge and freezer look emptier than a normal day let alone when we're hosting 9 tomorrow. I did say last year I was cutting back on buffet stuff this year and looks like I've stuck to my word

I also had to send DH to the end of the street for beer, milk and bread rolls. Sainsbury's substituted my rolls with a pack half the size!!

I don't know!!! There must be something, because it is going far too smoothly at the moment...

Filthy stuff, have given it to my neighbors!

So i cant remember if i bought 'uncle' and 'aunty' cards cant find any anywhere. I remember looking at some in card factory but not sure if i bought them or decided to wait.
Aw well. I have other cards there, albeit generic and not as personal. Better than nothing i suppose. Be grand.
Sorted for everything else. I think.

We had our big xmas dinner today and I forgot to serve the bread sauce and cranberry sauce! Hey ho it will go well with the leftovers!

🤷‍♀️ No idea, I’ll find out tomorrow.

DH went to Sainbo’s for yet another Christmas pudding so he picked 2 bits of veg that I forgot to order but we would have had a good Christmas Day without them.

I sometimes think I may be too laid back 🤣

@Bluewavecrashing - we have three stollen by accident - I bought one, DH bought one, and we both forgot we won one in a raffle.
What I don’t have is chicory, which I need for my posh coleslaw and nowhere had yesterday or today. Well Waitrose probably did but I couldn’t be arsed to go there, it is too far.
I did mean to go and get some presents for the guinea pigs, but I didn’t, and they don’t care.

Fruit cake. I only wanted a little one because there's only me really who eats it but I couldn't reach the iced bar thingies in Aldi the other day and Tesco only had great big cakes.

I completely forgot stollen bites and stuffed dates in M&S the other day and they haven't had the gorgeous spiced Christmas tea in this year and I left it too late to get the trifle cereal.

But I'm sure we'll just about cope without for a couple of days and if any of those are still available after Christmas they might be reduced so winner winner (quorn) chicken dinner

I haven't particularly forgotten anything but I have cut down on the number of things I normally cook for the Christmas meal that I am now worried I have forget something.

I had a massive twitching moment last night down in the shed freezer staring at a joint of pork shouler thinking about making stuffing. It would have been the first time I make stuffing from scratch as I normally buy it. People dont usually eat it as much since there are so many other dishes.

DH is doing Christmas this year. I joined the family at our holiday rental yesterday, He woke me up last night to tell me he had forgotten anything to make prawn cocktail starters with.
A quick run through confirmed there was also no cauliflower or leeks for a cheesy side, no red cabbage( fresh or pickled for Boxing Day), no orange juice for bucks fizz,no bread of any description.
He’s not doing it next year
