2 jumpers or 1 jumper and 1 t shirt (i cant remember now), new socks, new aftershave and a tube of his fav sweets. I am tempted to get him a new electric toothbrush and and now an electric neck and back massager (thanks to prev poster Grin) as i think he would really benefit from it....and maybe me!

openupmyeagereyes · 14/12/2019 21:49

Wallywobbles what tools have you got for gravel weeding?

@TheDuckSaysMoo do you mind me asking where you got the massager from?

Expressedways · 14/12/2019 22:04

You are my idol.
I got DH a lovely book from Amazon about craft projects to do with your cat’s hair; he’s going to be delighted with that
Expensive alcohol that isn’t the type I like as otherwise it’s not really a gift for him is it?!
Stupidly expensive designer stove top coffee maker as he’s a kitchen snob
Coffee to go in said coffee maker

AnduinsGirl · 14/12/2019 22:08

A fancy gamer keyboard (he chose it!), a coffee pod rack thing, ciroc vodka, electric toothbrush, Pieface game, Hairy Bikers book, shortbread (from the cats!)

Bunnyfuller · 14/12/2019 22:08

On my fucking nerves

Boxerbinky · 14/12/2019 22:24

Snooker cue!

SuperMeerkat · 14/12/2019 22:39

A hot air balloon ride (I get to go too), a bottle of Joop, some Orange Daim bars from IKEA and a T-shirt.

SuperMeerkat · 14/12/2019 22:41

@GAW19 😂😂 I feel your pain. Our first question upon entering any shoe shop is ‘do you stock any size 13s’ 😂😂 Normally the answer is no or if we get lucky it’s a limited range!

RaiseaGlasstoFreedom · 14/12/2019 23:33

The duck may I ask about your neck massager, which one... Have you tried it.

A very boring but much needed razor.

harper30 · 14/12/2019 23:38

😂 beautifully put from Rosie Ramsey

TheWristBoundLatexBitch · 14/12/2019 23:41

He has me, what more does he need

Bringonspring · 14/12/2019 23:44

I am soo following this thread. My BIL suggested a sound bar for H but not super exciting!

I really want to see a picture of the cat picture

Cineraria · 14/12/2019 23:53

Two shirts. Both long sleeved, slim fit with grandad collar. One is in light blue textured cotton and the other is a white linen one.

Stocking with chocolate, snacks, sweets, alcohol miniatures.

RJnomore1 · 14/12/2019 23:56

@TheWristBoundLatexBitch yes I am threatening to lie under the tree this year as I am the gift that keeps on giving to the bloody lot of them!

Thelonewanderer · 14/12/2019 23:58

Tickets to see The Wildhearts, GoT series 8 DVD and a GoT book he has been eyeing up

TildaTurnip · 15/12/2019 00:01

A few tshirts from Rapanui as I like their ethos and the designs are nice.

Amazon Prime to watch football that’s switched to there.

Socks.

GlendaSugarbeanIsJudgingYou · 15/12/2019 00:01

A fancy pants, fandangly gaming mouse.

Which like you OP, I also gave him early. The one he had was being a fartknocker.

He also got his fancy new keyboard early last month (anniversary gift).

I'm pretty crap at keeping surprises for him but he's currently in heaven with his new stuff.

wellthatwasthat · 15/12/2019 00:12

At the moment, nothing. I can't think of a single thing to buy him and this afternoon I gave in and asked him if there was anything he'd like me to get him.

He can't think of a single thing either.

cultmaskid · 15/12/2019 04:43

I think its easy to be be excessive but after last year where we didn't give presents and only for our son this year we will.

I've been thinking about it in bed.

I've seen a massager repeatedly advertised on instagram that plugs in. Have been considering one so will look now whilst I wait for the toddler to go back to sleep.

In a way i love the fact we are at this point in our relationship. We have been together for 7 years in March and the comfort and familiarity we have with each other now is just utterly priceless

DanceMonkey19 · 15/12/2019 04:51

A coat
Anti glare night driving glasses (they might be shit but were less than a tenner)
A takeaway dice
Book
Socks
Cheese!

BelfastNonBlonde · 15/12/2019 04:59

@TheDuckSaysMoo

A canvas portrait of our cat dressed as a duchess

Grin. WHERE please?! And do I still have time...?!

HereForTheHelp · 15/12/2019 05:02

A Nintendo switch, the newer one. I keep calling it a DS and he keeps sniggering like I'm an old granny who doesn't know technology, I'm a Data Analyst ffs! Grin(It's in a funny way, not a nasty way)

He's also getting D&D bits, t-shirt, notebook etc
Beard oil set because he keeps using my v.expensive conditioner to 'moisturise his beard', it has taken him about 4 years to grow anything even vaguely resembling a beard, so I'll let him off 😂

Erm...I'm actually a bit worried he's got me WAY more stuff than I have him...better hop onto amazon...

It's pricy but doubles up as a gift for 3 grandchildren as well, and will be a bonding exercise on Christmas Day (and many days thereafter I suspect!)
