Breakfast slices. They were thin slices of a spam type meat,v v greasy but we loved them.Noone I know remembers them.Possibly from Sainsbury's mid 80s

I remember breakfast slices. As well as trifle and angel delight there was a hot chocolate pudding that you mixed with a powder, and then put a packet of crumbs on the top.

Not Christmas related but does anyone remember a toffee flan that M&S used to do in the 80s? It was lovely.

Similar to Weekend chocolates was Carousel. Not sure if I ever actually had these or just remember seeing them in shops.

Biarritz chocolates in the late 80s/early nineties. Tasted great but hard to wrap with the triangular box.

Swiss pies from Marks and Spencer on Boxing Day. They were very like a pork pie, but the top half of the filling was a smooth pate.

Sara lee custard Danish pudding thing. It was long like a strudel with crispy crunchy sugary crust and gorgeous custard inside

For me it's pickled walnuts. We only ever had them at Christmas - they were Dad's favourites, and part of our traditional Boxing Day meal - cold turkey and ham, leftover stuffing, hot mashed potato, salad, cranberry sauce and pickled walnuts. I lost Dad in April, but I have some pickled walnuts for Christmas :) I'll be thinking of him.

Badgers Chinese Figs! I mention them every time a 'do you remember' comes up. Also loved New Berry Fruits. The ones you get now are called 'Jewels'and have a fruit jelly centre instead of the liquid.

Update: I’ve sourced a trifle kit for the absolute bargain price of £1 and It even has the packet of sprinkles! Think DH is more excited about than me.
