If you are getting a gift for your mum this year, what are you getting her?

OP posts:

A photo book ( recently had a milestone birthday with surprise party), chocolates ( handmade locally) and theatre tickets

QuestionableMushroom · 10/12/2019 17:22

Perfume
Nice shampoo and conditioner
Calendar with various pictures of the family on it
Lip salve

Peoplearemiserable · 10/12/2019 17:23

A nightie and a personalised calendar with photos of the grandchildren.

EvaHarknessRose · 10/12/2019 17:24

Cheese.

She's doing Keto. It's from the bath fine cheese co. In fact I'm sending everyone cheese because we won't see them this Christmas.

HavelockVetinari · 10/12/2019 17:24

A pair of nice slippers from John Lewis.

AdalindMeisner · 10/12/2019 17:24

A cinema voucher. She said she didn't want material items cluttering her house and would like this. Sadly though we can't say what we would like for Xmas/birthday as that is very ungrateful, so I will end up with things I can't use again, I would rather have nothing.

PhilomenaChristmasPie · 10/12/2019 17:25

Whatever she asks me for.

Spied · 10/12/2019 17:26

Perfume ( Daisy M.Jacobs)
Costume jewellery ( crystal earrings from Next)
Fudge

Sarahlou63 · 10/12/2019 17:30

Parents - a (small) hamper from Scottish Foods. Mother, have sent her some home produced olive oil.

twoturtledove · 10/12/2019 17:36

A voucher for her local salon for 2 blowdry's, wax warmer and some melts, lush products (she loves them) and a bottle of her favourite perfume.

CupCupGoose · 10/12/2019 17:39

A big set of Yankee candles, a canvas of the DC and some photo magnets.

Notthecarwashagain · 10/12/2019 17:40

I'm getting my mum an Orla Kiely alarm clock.
She mentioned a while ago that she's like a traditional one, but I decided to not get one of those, because she's very noise intolerant and jumpy (like Margaret in Catherine Tate show) Grin

NaughtyLittleElf · 10/12/2019 17:41

Some skincare products she asked for and a wick trimmer.

doadeer · 10/12/2019 17:41

Yoga outfit and probably some other nice bits

Tonii1985 · 10/12/2019 17:46

gothefcktosleep · 10/12/2019 17:47

A case of wine. Not sure what else. Sick of buying her stuff and never seeing her use it.

ArabellaPilkington · 10/12/2019 17:49

We are both fed up of stuff, so instead each Christmas and birthday (our birthdays are within a few days of each other midsummer) we meet up and go for a really special lunch somewhere.

Last time was River Cafe.

CyberPixie · 10/12/2019 17:49

For my 69yr old mum I've got her:
Samsung galaxy tablet and case
Huge tub of haribo jelly beans
Thorntons fudge
Cadburys Turkish delight from Ireland.
Candle with jewellery inside
New phone case
