Just popping in to say my local Waitrose has loads of these if anyone is desperate for one (sold out online). Happy to pop in and get one for anyone who needs one? I think DS2 would buy the entire shop worth if I let him but that's another story!!

The JL next to me were putting them out on launch day (late PM) - next day when I passed by they had all gone. I hate it when shops do that - whip up a frenzy then under order. Now on eBay for £30-50.

And just saw in their twitter that they aren’t getting more in. What a shower...

Yeah I saw some on eBay for that price. I'm not looking to make a profit, just trying to help out fellow MNers.

You has better be quick (and that a lovely idea as their twitter account has a lot of sad customers who have missed their chance).

There was a lovely MNer who got me a Mog for the little girl I looked after who was desperate for one for Christmas - I still think fondly of @PlantSitter for it, and Mog is still a firm favourite with the not-so-little girl too! It's a kind thing to offer, OP

@MyGhastIsFlabbered do they still have them in your local store? My daughter is desperate for one (we go in to waitrose to check stock mist days) and I would be very grateful if you could get one for us!

Dp works for JL and apparently they didn't under order on purpose! 144,000 for sale and over 120,000 sold in the first few hours. I'll look out for any at my local and post on here if I'm successful

@ Lexplorer - I can’t believe they haven’t under ordered on purpose! Almost sold out in two hours? This happens every year with some toy or other that is promoted like crazy (wasn’t it cuddly carrots last year?).

I feel terrible. Just popped into Waitrose and there's not an Edgar to be seen anywhere. So sorry everyone.

There is a huge John Lewis near me but I won't be heading that way until the end of the week.

Oxford St have none - they went in about a day.
