@PurpleHazel thank you I've just purchased one for a friend.

youscumbagyoumaggot · 22/11/2019 10:29

The hamper company that people were skeptical about have a hamper for £20.09 for black Friday. Discount applied at checkout.

Obviously order with caution because I can't vouch for them being legitimate. I have an order pending with them for delivery early December.

IggyAce · 22/11/2019 10:30

@Restlessinthenorth 29th November Debenhams have robes and slippers half price as part of their Black Friday deals.

IVEgotthesparklersBIATCH · 22/11/2019 10:37

I missed the Hype mystery bag thing, it looks good though. How much are they and how many items?

Love that yellow jumper pinkpanther!

Gilead · 22/11/2019 10:40

Found you! Grin

IggyAce · 22/11/2019 10:43

Dh informed me he bagged an echo dot for £22 so I’m happy with that price. It’s a whole family present.

recklessgran · 22/11/2019 10:45

Boux Avenue have 30% off site wide and there are a small number of nightwear items that have 60% off.Just bought pyjamas for teen for a bargainous £10.

Dangerfloof · 22/11/2019 10:48

Right I ordered the hype bags.
I got a green one and a palm trees one.
I really don't want the palm tree one. So if someone wants it, they can have for free.
www.justhype.co.uk/products/hype-multi-palm-fade-backpack have offered it by message to someone here who has found another, so offering to all of yous.
Otherwise it's going to charity shop.

Mistressiggi · 22/11/2019 10:53

Dangerfloof where you live do they do any present collections that are distributed to families in need? As I think a brand new hype bag would be nice for a tween to get, rather than a charity shop getting a few quid for it- just with it being brand new. Very nice of you to offer it.

Themazeoflife · 22/11/2019 10:56

Can anyone help me with a night light that turns itself on when baby cries?

RJnomore1 · 22/11/2019 10:59

I’ve just realised probably very few people saw my post about the wooden Xmas tree at the end of the last thread. I saw the identical ones, same box etc in a German airport for 12.90 euros yesterday morning!

They also had this little train to match for 14.90 euros. Its £3.99 here and free delivery by 20th - although you can get it tomorrow for a couple of pounds more on prime.

Dodell27 · 22/11/2019 11:00

Anyone know where I can get a nice, quality neckerchief for my dog?! Don't want something cartoony or plasticy like the pet shops seem to have.

Buckley London's Black Friday sale has some good gifts. I've bought a few "spares" gifts just in case...

Also, if anyone needs a laptop I was deal hunting last night and found John Lewis and laptops direct to be the cheapest in the BF deals for a cheap laptop for working on. John Lewis is especially good as they give a decent discount on Microsoft Office (code OFFICE70 gets £70 off the home & student version).

Happiness25 · 22/11/2019 11:05

50% off full price styles at Lands End with code BF50 until 2 December. Doesn’t work on sale items. Other exclusions listed in the photo.

Dangerfloof · 22/11/2019 11:11

The hype bag has gone.
I know others are after one, so if you get one you dont want please post up here. There are willing new owners.

lotusbell · 22/11/2019 11:15

@Theonlyoneiknow, no code but free standard delivery at the mo?

NotYourHolidayDick · 22/11/2019 11:16

Hype code Hypeoff50 will take 50% off bags. Better than the 30% advertised!

NotYourHolidayDick · 22/11/2019 11:18

I've also just impulse bought the lenovo laptop for DD. She did need a new one as hers is so old and slow. She uses powerpoint and word all the time so fingers crossed it'll be okay.

Restlessinthenorth · 22/11/2019 11:19

Does anyone have any suggestions for getting a computer game more cheaply? My son wants fifa20 for Xbox. Can't find it cheaper than £50 anywhere!

Happiness25 · 22/11/2019 11:22

@IHeartBigThistle, no the Lavazza lady didn’t say how to make hot chocolate with the £19 frother. I’ve read a review of making it with hot chocolate powder but not yet found any reviews with the Hotel Chocolat Velvitiser sachets, which seem to be mainly grated chocolate.

I’m going to experiment.

Both the Milk Up and Milk Easy are empty cups/jugs plus the motor etc. They come with little metal bits (technical term) which stick to the base inside the cup by magnetism. Then you add the milk, and the metal bits rotate when you switch on the machine to make the froth.

Carrie76 · 22/11/2019 11:23

@sixp we have a soda steam with a plastic bottle. Kids love it and we use it a lot to make sparkling water. Bottle states on it not for dishwasher, not sure if you can get dishwasher ones?

Mistressiggi · 22/11/2019 11:25

youscumbagyoumaggot thanks for the tip, have just ordered a hamper from the Highland Gift company for mil and £20 seems a bargain. Got a couple of other things too but they weren't reduced.

noodledoodler · 22/11/2019 11:27

@Restlessinthenorth keep an eye on ebay, especially for quite new games. Plenty of players who buy a game when it just comes out, clock it then sell in on a week or two later. Gumtree also a good way if picking these up.

RenardeRenarde · 22/11/2019 11:28

@Restlessinthenorth I think you’ll be better hanging on for Black Friday, last year I bought a few Xbox games at this time of year and they were all discounted on Black Friday/cyber Monday! I think last time the best deals were from Very, I will keep an eye out for you :)

Carrie76 · 22/11/2019 11:28

I need help you wonderful people. I need a present for my 13 yr old niece who is also my goddaughter. She’s a super girl, into hockey, drama and quite girlie. Her parents are very techy so she has everything in that dept, phone, dot, laptop.

Bumblebutts · 22/11/2019 11:28

Can anyone suggest a 2in1 laptop for a 10 year old?

Also can old people have hype backpacks or are they a young person thing? My mum has asked for a new backpack
Thanks
