Do you think this is the best price we'll see for Amazon Fire tablets? I don't know whether to bite or not.

DS is 7 & never had a tablet or computer/games console before so was going to get the kids version but maybe he doesn't need the rubber case. I guess I could just get the normal Fire tablet and pay for the kids subscription (I have Prime). Any advice welcome

@MsJuniper we got the kids fire and found it frustratingly slow. It broke in the warentee so they replaced it with another one that broke within a year so just out of warentee. They wouldn't replace it but did give us a really cheap normal fire which was better but I honestly wouldnt buy another again.

@Givealittlebit yeah one has gone but I think if the other doesn’t go to @Elpheba then there was someone upthread who also wanted one. Free beer for the win! Also. If anyone else has kept their beer52 subscription active for more than one delivery you should also have cases available to pass to a friend. It cannot go to the same address as the subscription.

Arghhh! I’ve just got a Hermes email to say they have left my parcel in the garage. They could have tried ringing the door bell and giving it to one of us.
