Best family board games (DC age 7 and 10)

Hi All

We have the usual suspects - dobble, uno , labyrinth, bugs in my kitchen, cludo, monopoly.

Looking for some board game recommendations to add to our list?

We have a drawing one called Telestrations which works well mixed age and with adults. We all love it.

I’ve just ordered the game of life for one child and am on here hoping for suggestions for another child. Have heard ticket to ride mentioned before but not sure about the age range?

I loved Payday as a child.

Came on to recommend Bugs in the Kitchen.. our favourite here!

Labyrinth is good and quite straight forward but does need cunning - and they have themed ones.

If they're into gaming, Monopoly Gamer is good fun as well?

junior trivial pursuit is good.
we have monopoly with the cards instead of money. much easier for that age

Ticket to ride is possibly for a year or two, it takes quite a while to play so depends on your DC's patience.

We're thinking about Settlers of Catan here (youngest is 8) so interested if that's popular.

Telestrations is popular with us as it can be hilarious.

Mine really enjoy Carcassonne which is another good for all ages.

Interested to hear people's suggestions.

The Big Taboo is a fun one. Combines taboo, pictionary and a little creature called Bendy Bob who you have to use to do a kind of sharades. It causes much hilarity in our house.

Mine love Game of life

My kids are 7, 10 and 12 and we play catan, Carcassonne, ticket to ride, exploding kittens, nyet, labyrinth, telestrations, azul, pandemic, through the desert, tsuro, takenoko, tokaido, reef. Basically loads! The 7 year old manages most of those fine. Ticket to ride probably the one he manages least well with. He's been playing stuff like Carcassonne and catan from a young age though.

I forgot sushi go!

Wowee so many choices! Is Carcassonne really £30 (so many prices on Amazon i don't know which one is right)
