Thank you @CupoTeap for the title!

It looks like Celtic & Co are going to honour the insoles I ordered for my mum, but it means I'm now on their mailing list. They've sent me an email with the most beautiful coats - that cost nearly £1,000 Shock

qal · 17/11/2019 08:30

@Someaddedsugar don't forget you can get cashback from quidco, 5.5% for North Face at the moment.

SushiGo · 17/11/2019 08:41

Hype (clothes) are doing blind bags/lucky dip - 10 items in a kids size for £79 good value for tweens if they like the brand.

They also have mens and back pack lucky dips.

BernardBlacksWineIceLolly · 17/11/2019 08:44

@hypodermicnurdle those reward stickers are perfect for my teacher friend - thank you

Gustavo1 · 17/11/2019 08:49

LIZ EARLE - There is also a code FORYOU15 which gives 15% off your first order. I’m thinking that means the facial cleansing and rock rose body set for £41.65 delivered.
Would make two lovely gifts. Itching to use it but no one left to buy it for ... can you tell? Grin

huglessduglas · 17/11/2019 08:52

@ToTheRegimentIWishIWasThere thanks so much for world of books recommendation I have 3 big readers and have just bought all the books from my amazon basket for them for a fraction of the price - so they got some extras - they’re great kids who won’t even bat an eye that they are pre loved

PoopaPoopa · 17/11/2019 09:17

Looking for recommendations for my Nan who has arthritis if any of you lovely lot have any ideas? I mention the arthritis because it’s been playing up a lot lately and I think something that eases it would be a nice gift as she’s one of these people who already has everything she wants and needs. She suffers with her hands and one of her knees. I saw those long hot water bottles in dunelm and wondered if they might be good to wrap around her knee, has anyone used them? Looking for something for her hands too.

Also, she likes to read magazines. I’m not sure of the names of all of them but I certainly remember seeing People’s Friend at her house. Maybe a subscription to it would be an idea. Is there ever a bargain to be had on magazine subscriptions?

Any other ideas would be gratefully received - she has dietary restrictions so food is a no go and she only uses certain toiletries, which everyone buys her so she always has a massive stash to get through.

doctorboo · 17/11/2019 09:24

@ PoopaPoopa I love my hand warmers and fingerless gloves. I’d be really chuffed with one of those long hot water bottles, the pain is so draining.

mummymilkfloat · 17/11/2019 09:25

@Gustavo1 I’ve just ordered the Liz Earle deal thank you! I didn’t have anyone to buy it for so had to buy it for myself!

There’s 24% off at buyAgift with the code JINGLE (valid until the end of Wednesday)
Think I’m going to buy a few prezzo vouchers for couples

ClaraLane · 17/11/2019 09:27

@PoopaPoopa How about some gloves like this? www.arthritis.org/living-with-arthritis/tools-resources/ease-of-use/health-and-wellness/imak-arthritis-gloves.php Or the Turtledoves ones people have mentioned before?

What about a wheat bag for her knees? My mum has one for her neck and it’s more practical than a hot water bottle plus you don’t have to worry about spilling it when you fill it up.

www.hearstmagazines.co.uk/ I think lots of people have bought magazine subscriptions from here - check Quidco or TopCashback for offers too.

How about a nice reed diffuser?

doistayordoigo · 17/11/2019 09:29

Can I ask...do i need sheepskin insoles at £7 each delivered? Are they worth it? I'm thinking of getting them for DH and DS...DH is a police officer so out in all weathers on his feet a lot, and DS is hoping to do vet med at uni and will be wearing wellies on cold farms etc. WOuld they be useful in these scenarios or am I just twitching!? Never used insoles before so not sure...

Carrie76 · 17/11/2019 09:37

@ClaraLane thanks for that, have ordered it

mogtheexcellent · 17/11/2019 09:40

@PoopaPoopa I got my mum the turtledoves fingerless gloves. Keeps her wrist and knuckles warm. The long hot water bottles dont look as if they are very bendy when filled with water. A microwave heat wrap would be better I think.

Tooner · 17/11/2019 09:42

Nice little boxed set of tea bags. English tea shop, organic tray of 48 tea bags £5.73 Amazon.

huglessduglas you're so welcome! My DS is only small but I'm trying to foster a love of reading and it's been a brilliant find for children's books.

3littlemincemeatpies · 17/11/2019 09:51

I wondered if any kind person still has a Boden code in use...

Have a beautiful dress sitting in my basket for DD’s Christmas but can’t really justify the price even with the 28% off...🙏🏻

Teabird · 17/11/2019 09:58

D7E3 will get 28% off Boden for anyone who wants it.

MoodLighting · 17/11/2019 10:01

Slightly inane but anyone have recommendations for felt pens whose lids actually stay on?

SkeletonSkins · 17/11/2019 10:02

Sorry if this is old news by Amazon has some nice Christmassy Yankee candles in their deal of the day today - just ordered a large Sparkling Cinnamon one for my mum for £14.99

Shitfuckoh · 17/11/2019 10:04

Don't know if it's been posted but 20% off Joules with code SANTA

MilkTrayLimeBarrel · 17/11/2019 10:05

Does anyone know where you can buy men's gloves which have the special bit on the fingers so you can use your phone while wearing them?

Also can anyone recommend really good Belgian style chocolates (not supermarket ones) which come in a fancy box and individual paper cases, please?

MilkTrayLimeBarrel · 17/11/2019 10:06

Also, does anyone have experience of virtual laser keyboards and any recommendation?

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 17/11/2019 10:13

BuyaGift has 24% off with the code JINGLE. Not sure if they will do a better code for Black Friday. Does anyone know if they have in previous years?

imsorryiasked · 17/11/2019 10:14

@MilkTrayLimeBarrel gloves here (I think they do other styles too just search for touchscreen gloves)

MilkTrayLimeBarrel · 17/11/2019 10:21

Thanks imsorryiasked!
