Where do I go for a mens dressing gown?

DH doesn't have one at the moment and I want to get him a nice one for Christmas as an extra gift.

Ideally on the longer side rather than barely past the knee.
Fluffy and soft and thick (nice quality) but not so thick and bulky that it will make him sweat bullets within 5 mins of wearing it.

Wouldn't like to spend more than £60

Any recommendations would be great!

This thread is old now so some of the suggestions may be outdated, but we’ve recently refreshed our best men’s dressing gown page with loads of toasty Mumsnetter-approved options, including thick, soft robes. We hope you find it useful.

How about this with a discount code- or is it not long enough? www.boden.co.uk/en-gb/brushed-cotton-dressing-gown-navy-multi-check/sty-m0070-mul?cat=C1_S1_G1014

The Next ones are decent. I have an XS men's one for me! £42.

(I got the matching pjs and a matching baby grow for our baby due 1/1 but I'm a bit odd...)

Tesco or Matalan, dp had an expensive one but it was really heavy and much prefers the lighter-weight ones.
Although he’s not above nicking mine which was Debenhams...

Got my husband one from m and s, about £30 (20% off vouchers come around fairly regularly too) he rarely takes it off Hmm I sling it in the washer/dryer every week or so and it’s as lovely and soft as when he got it 2 years ago!

TheGirlWhoLived · 15/11/2019 11:42

Fairly sure it was this one which is now available in a longer length too- only mine was a dark browny mink sort of colour, not navy
