Nectar double up... what did you get?

Currently sat in Sainsbury's cafe with a cup of tea having spent my nectar vouchers.

I got:
Pyjamas for me 18
Pyjamas for DD 15
Christmas top for me 9.50
Christmas novel 2.99
2 x LOL's for other DD 22
A flask for DS to take soup to school 18
Play doh for DN 6
Christmas crackers 10
It cost me £1.49 in cash!

Yes a bargain but can only double to £100 of points this year so not as good a haul as last year.

I have a nectar card linked to my Sainsburys account but I don’t really understand how it works and would really appreciate some help.

I’m housebound so can’t get out to buy OR return stuff.

I’m getting emails saying things like “you didn’t collect your bonus points” so pretty sure I’m missing out somehow and don’t know how to beat take advantage.

I’ve just now downloaded and logged in to app (had to reset password as would have set it ages ago)

Says I have 15,000 points approx worth £79 approx How does that work?

Weekly Sainsburys offers “end in 4 days” if I normally order on a fri for a sun delivery does that mean I miss out?

There’s a double up offer ends tomorrow.

The brands aren’t really companies I usually use and seem to only be a way to acquire more points? In which case I think I’d rather stick to usual retailers I use which are generally cheaper.

@Graphista, if you can't get out, you can't double up, sadly.

However, you can use the points to pay for your shopping from Sainsbury's. You'd get some nice Christmas treaty bits with that much.

With regards the offers, they renew every Weds. The offers now won't last til Sun, but your new offers on Weds will. And you'll see those offers before you order.

Thanks for reply. This thread prompted me to look at possible gifts from Sainsburys I'm really disorganised this year and need to get a shift on problem is I don't know what to get people.

Anyone know how I use the nectar points shopping online with Sainsburys? Is there a particular way I need to do it!

When you get to check out you can choose to manage your coupons. You apply Nectar points in that part of the site. In multiples of £2.50. It's really easy!

Can you use nectar card anywhere else to collect points? I know they are linked to Argos and could be spent there. Thanks
