Thank you @Barbarara for the title!

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Someone up thread was talking about games for pre schoolers- my 2 year old is just starting to get the simpler ones from orchard games. I got some bundles from Eduzone, they also have good ranges of wooden toys and regular discounts.

nightcap · 13/11/2019 19:02

Curse you all with your mega nectar points! I got all excited and downloaded the app, put in my card details expecting to be told I was owed millions and... £1.71. Bah, and indeed, humbug.

Betsy86 · 13/11/2019 19:17

If you go through self scan with nectar vouchers they will have to be authorised as higher value vouchers always need approval before they will be accepted.
Normal checkouts just hand over your vouchers or scan the voucher barcode on your app.
Only selected ttd alcohol is included.
Can you tell I’ve been doing this alot today 😂😂

Tamtam86 · 13/11/2019 19:19

Hema.com have some lovely inexpensive wooden toys on 3 for 2 at the moment

www.hema.com/en-gb/kids/toys/wooden-toys

And lots of great little stocking fillers. Just trying to narrow down my selection for 1.5yr old DD!

gaggiagirl · 13/11/2019 19:23

With *@nightcap*s post in mind. How did everyone manage to accrue such a large amount of nectar points? I had £10 to double up from a whole year of being there seemingly every day.
What are everyones top point boosting tips?

ToTheRegimentIWishIWasThere · 13/11/2019 19:24

PinkJam I've collected pop up pirate, baby shark fishing, buckaroo and a couple of orchard games for between my DS 3rd birthday and Christmas.

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 13/11/2019 19:27

Anyone seen the Sainsbury’s Christmas advert. m.youtube.com/watch?v=ak5HEPpubhk stealing ideas from everywhere but I quite like it in a cheesy Christmas way.

Bansku19 · 13/11/2019 19:28

@gaggiagirl We do our weekly shopping at Sainsbury's. They give triple points coupons once a while. In one year we have collected £80 worth of points.

UrbanMage · 13/11/2019 19:28

Topcashback deal on Yankee candle today. New customers get up to £15 cashback on purchases.

SandraOhshair · 13/11/2019 19:32

I travel with work and collect nectar points when booking trains. That gives my points a boost.

Betsy86 · 13/11/2019 19:34

@gaggiagirl
Make use of all your bonus coupons, especially the triple points ones etc.
Check for coupons with additional points boosters on like 400 bonus on next shop for example.
Swipe your card on every shop even if you only spend small amount you may still get vouchers for next shop.
Keep an eye out for offers instore like 10x points on veg or bodycare etc that happen randomly through the year.

Oreocrumbs · 13/11/2019 19:42

I've just come back from Sainsbury's and I've really struggled to spend £40 worth of vouchers. It's a big Sainsbury's and there was just nothing for me! I've ended up buying myself some pjs and wine.

Oh and the fridge was broken at the patisserie counter so all the cream cakes were half price....... but that has nothing to do with the vouchers....... just my tummy ache 🤦🏼‍♀️.

I wish I had taken my own advice and waited until I was in the shop to activate the double up voucher because I wouldn't have bothered.

On the plus side I used scan and go and checkout was smooth, assistant did have to check the voucher but she was over to check ID for wine anyway so no longer than a normal check out.

imsorryiasked · 13/11/2019 19:42

@PinkJam aldi have orchard toys at £3.99, mine had at least two that were suitable for age 3

Alltheprettyseahorses · 13/11/2019 19:52

If anyone has a My John Lewis card, keep an eye out for their mailing. I got one today (despite not having spent a penny with them for donkey's) and as well as the free cake & hot drink coupon there were ones for skincare samples and even a 7.5ml perfume, no purchase necessary by the looks of it.

CharlieWeasley · 13/11/2019 19:58

Wondering if anyone can help....I've bought SIL the biscuiteers book on offer from a previous thread. I'm wanting to get her some backing/decorating bits to go along with it - where is cheap for that sort of thing? I can get to most shops but usually have a toddler with me so would rather not traipse round everywhere looking for the cheapest place if someone else knows!

NoSquirrels · 13/11/2019 20:01

Hobbycraft is good for baking stuff Charlie although maybe not always cheapest.

TickleMyTitsTilFriday · 13/11/2019 20:07

@Coldilox, this one is fab, good quality and price!

Lc2006 · 13/11/2019 20:09

Home bargains is really cheap for baking stuff. I would imagine b & m is too but I got quite a bit at home bargains other week and it was so cheap

wornoutboots · 13/11/2019 20:15

@LaydyNina00
You're welcome,

I was intending to save them but I needed a behaviour reward and these arrived today

NeedMoreTea · 13/11/2019 20:17

@LiverbirdNo1 we've got the paw patroller and a bundle of the smaller vehicles. Although the patroller is big, the smaller vehicles and characters fit inside it, making it really easy to tidy them all away at the end of the day.

NoWordForFluffy · 13/11/2019 20:29

Two M&S vouchers:

CYZ7-75SR-HNAM-BMVC
CY7L-C4BY-X6WT-BMWA

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 13/11/2019 20:29

In our local Aldi today lots of lovely little Christmassy bits for the children. We bought a Santa boot dusting template, letter writing set, elf reward chart and make your own Santa sign. Each item was about 89p. I also picked up some mini cards for the children to send to pre-school/school friends, some twister game crackers and for stocking fillers two make your own hot wheels cars.

CharlieWeasley · 13/11/2019 20:33

Thanks NoSquirrels and Lc2006 I have hobbycraft and home bargains quite close so will check them both out.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 13/11/2019 20:34

@LiverbirdNo1 I know you don't want big plastic paw patrol items but the lookout tower we bought last year for Ds4 aged 3 is so played with. He loves it. We have the older version not the new mighty pups version. So it can be picked up a lot cheaper. We also have him the fire truck for this year but only because he is obsessed with fire engines and wants to be a fireman 👨‍🚒

NotPennysBoat · 13/11/2019 20:41

A couple of M&S 20% codes... single use.
