My mum says my dad could do with new slippers and dressing gown for Christmas. He has mobility problems so needs slippers his feet actually stay in, like moccasins. Not the most exciting present in the world. Anyone come across any nice ones?

This thread is old now so some of the suggestions may be outdated, but we’ve recently refreshed our best men’s dressing gown page with loads of toasty Mumsnetter-approved options. We hope you find it useful.

What's your budget? The white company do nice women's ones but not sure if they do men's, depends how much you want to spend.

There are nice moccasin slippers on the Landsend website.

If you want a terry towelling dressing gown then Dunelm have them in a decent range of colours. Fluffy dressing gowns are everywhere. I've seen nice navy ones in both Tesco and Asda.

Have a look at Celtic Sheepskin for slippers. They do several styles. I've bought several pairs as Christmas presents. Not cheap but v good quality, lovely warm sheepskin.
