MN top Xmas toy predictions 2019

Hi

I started a thread on this last year and found it really useful getting in early 😊

Argos have released their top Xmas toy predictions so what do we think are going to be the nightmare to get toys this year?

Blume dolls will be difficult I think and walking buzz light year

Any ideas?

Frozen 2 comes out on the 22nd Nov - I would have thought anything associated will be in high demand! I can already predict that my 4 year old (at Christmas) will be Frozen focussed based on her current Disney favourites!

Probably some of the many LOL things that are being released this year.. lots of dolls, new house and camper van.

I am not buying into plastic top 10 crap this year, the pomsies and wrapple I thought dd would love have sat in a drawer since Christmas!!!!

Oh god I've just googled that LOL camper van. £100! and probably impossible to get. My DD is obsessed with LOL. We managed to steer her away from the LOL house last year as she's already got a good sized doll house but if she sees this she's going to want it.

Last year we got the LOL bigger surprise and paid £85 for it. What an absolute rip off - having said that, her face when she saw it was worth the price and 6 months later she's still playing with it.

After seeing Toy Story 4 I think the Forky toys will be a big one.

Definitely think frozen will be big too as well as toy story things. I couldn't bring myself to buy a Forky toy, a toy based on a toy made from simple trash, so tomorrow I'm doing arts and crafts with my granddaughter and making our own Forkys. Had loads of spare plastic forks and we have playdough and eyes so just cost me £1 for the wire (will not be used as a toy just a decoration for shelf). I think blume dolls will be popular and baby born suprise.

Don’t think those Blume dolls will take off to be honest, but we’ll see. LOL seem to really own the market at the moment

I’ve just had an email from Smyths about a pre-order for the new LOL OMG dolls. £30 each, wondering if it’s worth ordering now just in case Confused

Buddyelf I've seen the omg dolls on YouTube they may be popular with older girls, seem like a cross between barbie and bratz dolls combined with hairdorables.

Frozen 2 official merch disney/Hasbro will be officially released October 4th, bit close to Christmas so may create a frenzy. Some bits available to pre order on amazon but because disney is keeping it all hush hush there are no images allowed of what the items are so that has put me off pre ordering. Our 3yr old granddaughter is a fan.

Boppi the booty shaking Llama is meant to be big but I've seen it in real life and I wasnt impressed. After I'd seen it do its thing a couple of times it was annoying and didn't hold childrens interest. One trick llama.
