I started a thread on this last year and found it really useful getting in early 😊

Argos have released their top Xmas toy predictions so what do we think are going to be the nightmare to get toys this year?

Blume dolls will be difficult I think and walking buzz light year

Any ideas?

I just checked the Argos list. I'm really tempted to buy the Furreal cubby bear for my daughter.

Only problem with fur real stuff is it really isn’t worth the money

Yes there is a lot of plastic tat, but I was a child of growing up in the late 70s early 80s and there was a lot of plastic tat then too. I still have some of it saved (early gen my little ponies, a working speak and spell and my brothers star wars collection) and I loved them all just as much as hand made things I received as a child. Its ok in small quantities. Our granddaughter will be 3 1/2 at Christmas and will be receiving a wooden farm, schleich animals, a handmade superhero cape, books, clothes, art supplies and a small amount of tat ie:blume doll etc.

I'm really tempted by the furreal cubby bear for my 3.5 year old dd
