I'd love to sit round the Christmas dinner table with someone dead famous, just to have a glimpse of their 'normal' life Xmas Grin

Yes. And no I'm not saying who. But they are very normal, though they open presents on Christmas Eve which is a bit weird.

sophisticatedsarcasm · 21/12/2018 22:54

No but I wouldn’t mind George clooney popping by 😂😂

cheesenpickles · 21/12/2018 22:54

@Colabottle10 are they sticking with you on the day though? Or have they got to shoot out somewhere? Grin

Colabottle10 · 21/12/2018 23:18

Church in the morning then food!

LeonoraFlorence · 22/12/2018 08:16

Not this year but I have in the past when we spent Christmas with DHs family in the US where he grew up. The man of the couple is DHs best childhood friend so I suppose it’s just normal to us now.

MinecraftHolmes · 22/12/2018 10:29

Colabottle at least it will be quite mild in Norfolk.

OutragedERIC · 22/12/2018 10:33

Just my little mum-joke there

yuletidiness · 22/12/2018 10:35

Cola - are they worldwide famous?

PastaOfMuppets · 22/12/2018 10:45

Cola, are they born into a famous family or married into a famous family or a mix?

DonaldDucksTowel · 22/12/2018 10:48

Famous-ish
A family member is in a soap so not famous famous, but they’re ont telly

BarbedBloom · 22/12/2018 10:49

Not me, but a close friend is as they are part of her extended family and she is in America this year. They tend to stay for dinner and presents apparently and then go off to a party.

GourmetGold · 22/12/2018 14:36

Lobsterquadrille2 · 22/12/2018 15:00

@GourmetGold it is! But you can't ever tell anyone!

GourmetGold · 22/12/2018 16:04

Kemer2018 · 22/12/2018 21:29

Hugh grant

Lobsterquadrille2 · 22/12/2018 21:35

@GourmetGold you just get used to it .... occasionally when people are criticised on MN boards or similar, there's a desire to defend them but that would be breaking their anonymity too.

BadgerSandwich · 22/12/2018 21:42

Yes. A family member who will remain nameless - it is likely that if anyone is channel surfing the aforementioned relative might pop up.

Spending Christmas eve with a friend who provides animals for films and tv - you wouldn't know them, but you've probably seen one of their horses!
