Got the bloody cracker selection just no pissing cheeses apart from cheddar and Mexican (the Mexican will not last the night)

The meat. I don't eat meat so dh is still deciding what he wants. The DC's will eat whatever, they don't mind. We have got pretty much everything else.

I had to go to 3 supermarkets today, before I found chanteney carrots!!!

Almonds - I need them for the dessert. Without them, it will not be right at all.

Went to waitrose and they only had the Duchy almonds, and they are terrible and very expensive, so I didn't want them. Hopefully I'll find some tomorrow.

Haven't done the food shop yet 🙈

Turkey. I l8ve Turkey and have 12 coming for Christmas dinner.
I'm not panicking but getting a bit twitchy.
I did pop in the supermarket on the way home from work tonight (Was in and out of the actual shop in 10 minutes but an hour getti g out the car park!!) for a few bits. Lots of turkeys but all with a date of 25th or 26th. Ideally I want one a bit fresher.

I think I will probably cave in tomorrow and just get one. As I was sat queuing to get out of the car park 4 delivery lorries were arrive g do I'm hoping they have some fresher turkeys in.

Food! I haven't been shopping yet. List all ready and I hope to be there at 8 in the morning but I'm slightly freaking out that there will be nothing left!! Can't be helped as I've been working all week and dh on nights so no time to go and last weekend was too far away

We're short two chairs as well - thing is, we brought fold up spare chairs a year ago and they are very handy but only enough to seat 10. We need at least 12 and a highchair!

I am doing the usual not enough food panic, am going to look at it all in the morning and reason with myself. (it probably is fine after all)

Chickens as the use by date was a day before Christmas 😂

Just back from holiday so going to get everything out today to check what is still to get! I know we need cream for trifles, bacon for sprouts and goose fat....hopefully most of the rest is done?! Ooh bread to go stale for the sauce, and wine! Wine!

A bloody chocolate log, everywhere is sold out and the kids are adamant it’s not Xmas without a log for dessert 🙄
I’m going on the hunt again later and if I can’t get it they’ll have to have something else, I’m not setting foot in a shop after today
