For me it's for the dc's. We have booked a break to Centre Parcs in Feb half term. We have been as day guests and they loved it but never been and stayed. We have had a difficult 3 months with a bereavement and bullying and some general down times so I can't wait to have a break away and I know they will love it.

This bunny I have knitted, to go in dh’s stocking - it is a tradition that I knit or crochet an animal for his stocking every year.

Veronicat · 14/12/2018 17:05

Paul Weller tickets to DP who's always wanted to see him Grin

DragonMamma · 14/12/2018 17:05

I’ve got my America-obsessed DD a 4 day break to New York with my DM and Dsis. She’s only 11 and has been dying to ‘do’ America so she will be ecstatic!

FrannySalinger · 14/12/2018 17:07

A bathplug shaped like a pug for dd. She will find it hysterically funny Grin

DragonMamma · 14/12/2018 17:08

@frannysalinger where did you get that from?! My Ds would love one!

WatcherOfTheNight · 14/12/2018 17:11

A box of 36 salt n vinegar squares !

Monr0e · 14/12/2018 17:12

New York sounds amazing, how lovely for your DD.

Both my Dc's would love the pug bath plug!

Veronicat, where is Weller performing? I'm really struggling with ideas for DH this year. Although to be fair, tickets to see Paul Weller would probably be more of a gift for me than him!

I'd love a box of crisps!

Mines to my partner, he is getting a racing car driving experience at silverstone which I know he will love as he done similar.

LardLizard · 14/12/2018 17:14

Also holiday suprise
How are your presenting yours op ?

DancingintheSpoonlight · 14/12/2018 17:15

Tickets for 10CC for my dad. Loves his 70s throwbacks and he deserves a treat.

Felyne · 14/12/2018 17:18

Office secret santa. I've found something so perfect for my recipient incorporating three aspects of their personality/hobbies I'm actually sad it has to be anonymous!

Arrowfanatic · 14/12/2018 17:18

I've got DH some great presents but my favourite is the heavy duty nail clippers as he has nails of steel and he's always moaning that he's too scared to use my nail scissors Xmas Grin big baby that he is

Skyejuly · 14/12/2018 17:19

I've got my Dh a yule treat box. We are having a spa day and then home for dinner and candles and talking and love :p

bluechameleon · 14/12/2018 17:30

My 4 year old is getting a wooden castle which I think he is going to love.

WatcherOfTheNight · 14/12/2018 17:50

Me too @LoubyLou1234 !

Your post reminded me of another ,I've also bought a young driver experience for Ds ,he will love it & wont be expecting it .

Bunnybigears · 14/12/2018 17:54

DS1 is getting some fake grass for his room he doesnt think he isnt getting it because DH told him it could only be laid outside.

longnight · 14/12/2018 17:55

All but youngest who's too young is getting either a console or a tablet it's the first time I've been able to do anything like this as I had a rebate from a bill I had been over paying for the past year. None of them know about it and we have had a rubbish year so can't wait to see their faces. Grin

Monr0e · 14/12/2018 17:59

@LardLizard I've bought them both new swim suits and got scratch cards from not on the night street which say "We couldn't wait to tell you" then you scratch off the panel to reveal "We're going to Centre Parcs" I've wrapped the scratch cards up with the swim suits and put these in a gift box each. I've got the swimming gear because I know they'll spend most of the week in the pool.

@Watcher, we got DS a young drivers experience last year, he loved it, got it again for his birthday too.

Very expensive specially made children's gold pans for competition speed panning. I think they're from Sweden.

I know there's an MN thing that DH's hobbies are never actually mentioned but here goes. Mine is a gold panner! He's tried to get the youngest two into it and they're pretty keen so we've ordered some special pans for them. They're going to love them. I've also bought DH an adult one.

Frustratedandalone · 14/12/2018 19:13

The cross stitch I did my brother and his wife. They live in Los Angeles and I’ve done a skyline. It’s huge and they’ll love it. I haven’t seen them in over a year and I’m so excited

RobotOverlord · 14/12/2018 19:18

Don’t Step In It which is a game where, blindfolded, you try not to step in poo made of play doh Envy Both kids have been begging to put it on their lists every time they’ve seen it and I’ve said absolutely not on account of it being disgusting. Still think it’s gross, but it’ll be under the tree from Santa (who is less easily revolted than me apparently Grin)

Stompythedinosaur · 14/12/2018 21:08

A rock tumbler for pebble obsessed dd1 and a homemade spy kit for both the dds.

TokyoSushi · 14/12/2018 21:18

DS is getting an XBox, he will be very, very happy!

supadupapupascupa · 14/12/2018 21:22

the only thing my son asked for. he has ASD and his focus is minecraft lego. He asked for the Mountain Cave set but he's sad because he doesn't think it's available anymore so he doesn't know what to ask for. I found the last box at a toy store an hour's drive away :-)
