Evening all! I'm not sure if this will be the last or the penultimate thread, but here goes!

Nero, O2 appears to be working now (conveniently now I'm home and don't need mobile data!).

Mrs Your sister is a horrible person. I'm sorry to say it so bluntly but the more you talk of her she seems like a right witch!! You did nothing wrong! At your parents age a smaller 3 foot tree is a great idea!! And it does give them hope! UGH What a right cow your dsis is.

Psb AWWW I love that! I showed it to my kid who declared it was Comet haha

Cathy I have 5 cats lol 2 of them are kittens. I'm sorry your daughter decided to share her sickness with your other one

Fluffy Congrats on meeting your steps goal! How many did you walk?

Acey Have a grand evening! And LOL about your hair! Sounds like my oldest daughter. My girls gave me permission to share this so here's my kids on Christmas Day evening. They are getting so old!

Woolly Nothing smells better than fresh baked bread. Oh my goodness I can almost smell your house from here!

I have decided I'm going to give my recliner back to the rental place and purchase a chaise lounge. This will give me a nice place to sleep away from hubby's yanking hands haha

Mrs - I am ridiculously happy, I honestly never knew it was possible to be this happy Grin here’s a pic of a couple of the bath macaroons, I will try a small one see what happens Grin resident bath bomb expert, love the title Grin

Wheelie - awww your girls are beautiful and so grown bless them! I love that you have the pic of Calypso too ❤️

AceyMac13 · 27/12/2018 21:13

Duh baby brain, attaching the pic really would help 😂

WheelchairWoes · 27/12/2018 21:16

Acey I'm very interested in how those bath bombs turn out! They look so cool! I love them!

Also thank you! I can't believe I'm old enough to have a 15 year old. Where on earth did the time go?

It's still pissing rain like crazy here

Philomensapie · 27/12/2018 21:19

Had chicken breasts in BBQ sauce with potato wedges for lunch, chilli beef burritos for supper, DS2 went to bed at 7.30, DD went at 9. 😋🍗😋😴

Mrsmadevans · 27/12/2018 21:25

Wheelie thank you so much , l am so grateful to everyone here Flowers
I agree with you and think Dsis seems to be getting worse if anything Hmm
lovely picture of you and your DD by the tree Smile good idea to have a chaise longue ....they are just lovely Smile

Mrsmadevans · 27/12/2018 21:26

Acey they look too good to put in the bath m'dear Xmas Grin

Philomensapie · 27/12/2018 21:32

Another cwtch here Mrs. Your DSis can do one.

Philomensapie · 27/12/2018 21:41

It's on the McDonald's website, you upload a photo of the room and they do the rest, then email you the link. Xmas Grin

Philomensapie · 27/12/2018 21:41

That was to Mrs.

CrazyBaubles · 27/12/2018 21:44

Acey I hope you're enjoying your bath macaroons Xmas Grin
I love the idea of Paddy singing away completely out of tune. DH dances with me sometimes even though he has no rhythm and 2 left feet. It would look awful if anyone could see but it makes me smile every time.

Fluffy Thank you. I haven't told my family about my fertility issues because I don't want it to be gossip, although DSis has made comments which lead me to believe she knows.

Well done on the steps!

MrsMad Rather than feel bad, I would be proud if I were you - most of us would have exploded well before now! I definitely think your sis is jealous, probably because you and your DH are happy, you have been able to retire, you are relentlessly positive and caring and people like you!

Thank you for your good wishes. I normally put on a great brave face and answer the inevitable "don't you want kids" questions with tales of my holidays and enjoying my freedom but times like Christmas and New Year are very very hard, even more so because they really seemed to hit DH this year.

Woolly Well done on your organisation skills. How is your bread machine? Easy to use? I would like one but DH swears I'd never use it...

I'm not doing anywhere near so well. DH has done all the cooking and we have clearly misjudged how much we would eat - there's enough food here to keep us going until March Grin so DH is going to have to turn some leftover turkey into his (Jamie Oliver's) lovely pie 🥧

Cathy I hope your 2 feel better soon and that you can warm up your house!
Where in the country are you? As far as I can work out we have some English, Irish, Welsh and American posters. I don't recall anyone saying they are based in Scotland but I could be wrong!

Wheels I'm glad you seem to be settling to the idea of a tube. Would you have to sleep elsewhere or your DH?

I am exhausted today. A very good friend baby bombed me today (announced her pregnancy after 3 months of trying), about an hour after another friend contacted me to say his partner gave birth to their (miracle, 3rd round of IVF) baby. Amazing news for them but hard for me - I would never ever let them see / know that though don't worry.

I'm home with 2 dogs snoring on me and DH researching new tents next to me 🙄

I want to treat myself to a planner / diary / organiser type of thing which is a bit luxurious, can be used as a kind of bullet journal but doesn't require lots of arty stuff because I'm lazy at stuff like that Can anyone make any suggestions?

PS Sorry for the monster post

Philomensapie · 27/12/2018 21:44

Your kid's obviously the reindeer expert Wheelie! I guess it must have been then! Xmas Grin

WheelchairWoes · 27/12/2018 21:48

PSB That sounds like such good food I wish so badly I could eat some haha

Mrs Do you think it's jealousy from your Dsis? Or is it just that she's stingy with money and gets pissy at others for not being?

Crazy Don't apologize for long long posts. Sometimes I feel like I'm writing books replying to you all after I get up in the morning.

Yes I'd have to sleep away from husband. He's very grabby and a hands up the shirt kind of guy. I will totally be honest it's not going to be a hard issue to sleep away from him. He's very sweaty and hot at night and I don't like being grabbed all night as it disrupts my sleep lol. The only reason I sleep with him right now is that our couch suck hahaha

You deserve to treat yourself. I couldn't get into bullet journaling. I do what I call 'Crapbooking' I bought those sheet protectors and put them in a binder and will tape random items and photos to sheets and put the dates haha. Receipts or small Polaroids and such.

CathyBigBalls · 27/12/2018 22:01

Got home from the walk in. The girls have tonsillitis!. Been given some amoxicillin and gonna give them a lot of fluids. They’ll both be in our bed tonight.

Wheelchair Gosh that’s a lot!. DH loves cats but I could never have one. Not sure what it is about them but they always put me on edge. We used to have a dog, I had him as a child and took him with us when we moved into our house, he passed away last year sadly. Since then DH has constantly been trying to convince me to get a cat!. Your girls are beautiful by the way.

Crazy We’re in Norfolk. Bloody freezing here.

Philomensapie · 27/12/2018 22:10

Tonsillitis is horrible Cathy. I had it every year until I was 12. The amoxycillin will take a while to work, poor things. Flowers

WheelchairWoes · 27/12/2018 22:15

Oh cathy tonsillitis sucks! Poor kiddos. But glad you got them seen asap.

LOL I love my cats. I was only going to stop at 4 but then my little girl Lilah came into our lives and she was sickly and I couldn't leave her to possibly die. So we brought her home and nursed her back to health.

I'm sorry to her about your doggy. :( Tht's so hard

CathyBigBalls · 27/12/2018 22:18

Philomensapie I never had it as a child, then had it constantly when I was about 14. I had them removed after that. It’s absolutely horrid, they keep being sick because there throats are being iterated and causing them to gag. Don’t think there will be much sleep for me tonight.

Wheelchair It must be lovely to do that!. I had a 3 legged cat as a child, he was lovely. We do miss our dog very much, but he was old and had a lovely life. He got to meet our girls too so we couldn’t ask for much more.

WheelchairWoes · 27/12/2018 22:40

Cathy Have they talked about removing your girls' tonsils?

I'm glad your doggy had a long and very happy life. That's all anyone can wish in this world!

CathyBigBalls · 27/12/2018 22:49

Wheelchair this is the first time they’ve had it, I think they have to have it more often for them to consider removing their tonsils.

WheelchairWoes · 27/12/2018 22:53

cathy Hopefully they don't get it again then! And I hope they get on the mend soon.

The sun has gone down and it's 5:50 PM. You guys will all be going to bed soon. My iron infusion is tomorrow and once again I have some nerves about it ugh. Hopefully this is my last one for a long while. When I get my food the better nutrition will hopefully keep me from having to get more infusions!

My kids are watching Live PD the police show I posted about once before. I'm playing some computer games (Stardew Valley) and I think I might turn on my 3ds and play Harvest Moon for a bit

WheelchairWoes · 28/12/2018 03:36

10:35 PM! Love you all and I'm off to bed! I'll check in tomorrow before my iron infusion :)

AceyMac13 · 28/12/2018 07:09

Morning!
Ugh, tired today. Didn’t sleep well as I was constantly wheezing and in agony with my back and hip. Gave up at 5 and came downstairs so I didn’t wake paddy up! Never mind, que sera, sera!

We need to go get my digital passport photo done today, then aside from that think it’s going to be a pretty chilled day. Need to assemble Addie’s cot at some point although there’s no real rush for that.

Wheelie - the bath macaroons weren’t anything amazing really. It smelt amazing but aside from that it didn’t really do anything! It fizzed when it hit the water but it didn’t change the water colour or give off bubbles or anything haha. I’ve got about 12 of the macaroons still left to use, so maybe I’ll use more than one next time see what happens haha. Time flies; blink and you miss it! I hope your iron infusion goes well today, and that’s the way to think of it, hopefully it will be the last!
We can get that live PD show on an American crime channel here in Ireland, I’ve recorded it so will give it a watch later Grin

Crazy - I did enjoy my bath macaroons thank you, the smell was incredible Grin it was so sweet hearing him singing his wee heart out Grin aww that’s so sweet that hubby dances with you! It’s all about the little things :)
You should definitely treat yourself, you deserve it!

Cathy - sorry to hear the girls have Tonsillitis! I hope the antibiotics kick in soon and they start to feel better. Also hope you all managed to get some sleep!

Night night wheelie; sweet dreams Grin

I think I’ve caught up, that’s the magical power of caffeine Grin

I got a waffle iron for Christmas, so I’m going to attempt to make some for breakfast later Grin

Morning!

I hope your girls are on the mend, Cathy.

Your house will be full to the brim once your twins come along! 👶 👶 👧 👧

Wheelie, I hope your transfusion goes well. I'm guessing that with formula they can actually build you up and ensure you get all the right nutrients, whereas with blended food you could still end up malnourished even if you get the calorie intake (not that you would, but there are plenty of people who aren't able to source a balanced diet).

I think I actually had a decent amount of sleep last night. I'd have had longer if DS hadn't woken just before 7, but he'd had 12 hours then, so it was expected!

Off into town today to collect a few bits from Next as well as from Boots plus get the kids a loaf from Sainsbury's as it didn't come in the delivery yesterday!
