Evening all! I'm not sure if this will be the last or the penultimate thread, but here goes!

Nero, O2 appears to be working now (conveniently now I'm home and don't need mobile data!).

It looks like this :) I hope some kids use it. I'm going to have my two youngest put their letters in it so there will be a start at least. Next year we'll put it out earlier.

Cheerful I love that. If we lived near you we'd definitely use that mailbox. I might have to try something like this for our town. We have no special ways to get letters to Santa. LOL

Evening all. Just back from Manchester and now relaxing in a bubble bath. The market was busy but not as hectic as it could have been. I was able to get the double buggy about it without too much difficulty. I also discovered mulled gin. It's been a revelation!

I'm glad your appointment went well, they might be waiting for your results to come in before setting up the dietitian appointment fingers crossed it won't be a long wait - here it would be ages! hopefully the new medicine will help you.

nero Mulled gin! I'm intrigued now! what did it taste like? I don't like the wine version but I can picture the gin being good. A double is a must imo around markets, especially if they're busy, I have a donkey and use it a a battering ram. Enjoy your bath!

Seafood I honestly can't describe how good it was. It tasted a bit more fruity than sweet, like some mulled wines.

The place I had my scan at, they give you a code to put in on an app where you can see all the photos they took. This one of Addie is so cute, her brow is furrowed and she’s pouting! The sonographer was jiggling her to try and get her to move and she doesn’t look happy! She’s also kicking herself in her head LOL, definitely my daughter 😂

Evening all
Done loads today for the parents , delivering cards with money in . Dad had the blood tests done and going on Thursday afternoon to get the results and then Mum is seeing the same Dr straight after him so that will save two journeys. Will get their prescriptions signed off for Christmas with her too whilst there.
Wheelie , hope the dietitian can help you tomorrow m'dear , wonderful that the fireplace came, now to get it installed

Fluffy ...l know my Dsis does have a bloody cheek , it is none of her business what Mum does , it is as if she wants to be in charge all the time . The latest is that she has said , 'when the time comes no one is doing anything to clear the house for at least 3 months , you jumped the gun when you cleared Nannies house straight away , you put yourself under a lot of stress' . I had to clear My mil's house it was a tied cottage , l had no choice . I would have loved the time to dwell over and reminisce but l had to clear her house asap for the landlord. Dsis just rides roughshod over everything and everybody , she is a nightmare , the more l talk about her here and you all say what you think, it is making me realise it really isn't me , which is a great help believe it or not . Thank you for the well wishes for Dad , will know more Thurs afternoon , fingers crossed. am so glad you feel better too

I'm supposed to see my Hematologist tomorrow and get more bloodwork. But I might ask them 'Hey I had blood work yesterday including Iron and Ferritin and stuff. Can I just send those results when I get them?' lol I hate that I have to get poked twice in a row!

We currently are missing our toilet. It started leaking and my dad came over and took it off and is trying to fix it lol

The sonographer, her assistant and the receptionist all said they think she looks like paddy 😂
My grandad isn’t sure who she looks like, but he was like oh my god she’s actually a real person, think it hit home quite hard for him seeing her

Acey take heart , My friends 4D scan showed the baby was the image of the sperm donor too there are a lot of them about by the seems, she was like him when she was born but a few years in she is the spit out of her Mum's mouth . Anyway she is beautiful no matter what , she is your DD!

Morning! DS2 woke up at 3.08 this morning.

Mrs giraffe bread's like tiger bread but with spots instead of stripes.

It's not a pretty bit of the Thames though, it's a building site! It's Wandsworth Bridge, Putney Bridge is much prettier.

Fluffy I was telling DD about breakfast with Santa, she said their school caretaker, who played Santa last year, would never be able to handle that! He's not doing it this year, because he's a Grinch. He's a lovely man, he just hates Christmas.

How old are your twins Frange? DS2's 7 and is exactly the same if I come to school for anything, and sometimes tries to drag me into school with him in the morning! I've pointed out that he's in KS2 now and a big boy, but he's still very clingy. Not upset, smiling, just very kind of cute and "pleeeeeeease"! He also says he misses me when he's at school. 💔

Philomena They’re turning 5 in January, they’re only in reception. I was like it with my mum too. They cried when I left today, meaning I cried even more!

Morning all, sorry about the offload yesterday.

I finished the last scarf last night, while sitting watching tv with DH. After we'd all had a family dinner together. And I wrote a list, so I have a few more jobs ticked off now - feels better. Working from home this afternoon, so I will get a couple of jobs done around that (I need to get to a village local but awkward, to pick up an order, and I want to get another load of laundry organized which is the work of moments).

It sounds like everyone is getting there with being organized.

They're still only little Frange. It's tough leaving Mummy when you're little. I still always say "See you at 3.15" to my 2. It's like a promise to come back. Although DD walks home by herself now.
