Just that really, who else has bought overpriced things this year knowing their dc will love it?? Please make me feel better about parting with this obscene amount of money 😂

(Its the funko pop Harry potter one and it's a November birthday present) dd has asked for the blind boxes that are normally £5 so 24 for £50 isn't bad.....

So all together I’ve spent £75 because DD falls off bicycles

A ‘learn to ride’ course would probably have been cheaper! 😖🤣

Nothing yet so far this year and previous ridiculousness has been forgotten...like the pain of childbirth! 😊

i'm still recovering from the £20 minifigure I bought for DS years ago.

Zoflorabore, I was just in the states. £288 in the American Girl store, I've carted all back home. She has a new doll to go with last years, a dog, guitar, night before Christmas set and matching nighty...all for the doll.

HRTpatch · 13/11/2018 18:49

Hamilton tickets. I am not saying how much.

Paddingtonthebear · 13/11/2018 19:47

New bike for DD. It will be one of the most expensive things in the bloody house.

Valasca · 13/11/2018 20:29

LucilleBluth, I feel your pain as I just lugged back the Our Generation Ice Cream trick from the States. It is obscenely massive and needed its own box as it didn’t fit in the biggest suitcase allowed by airline. But $80 with discounts as opposed to the £200 charged by the official U.K. retailer.

Also LOL dolls. So much cheaper there with various promos/store discounts. Still the shite cheap tat but the girl loves to make her own YouTube reviews (which are never actually posted online).

Truck, not trick

Champagne afternoon tea at the Ritz. £152 . On DD's bucket list though!

WhatsGoingOn3 · 13/11/2018 21:41

recklessgran-I had afternoon tea at the ritz earlier this year for my 40th-it was amazing!

girlinleeds · 13/11/2018 21:42

£120 on running trainers and £500 on a bike in one weekend I nearly cried
