Present idea for DS4 who likes "girly" things

He shows very little interest in his Lego etc. Loves playing with my nieces dolls, unicorns, ponies etc etc.

I don't want to buy him a toy blatantly aimed at girls cause he'll just nag for more. But I do want him to love his present if that makes sense.

Any suggestions please?

I wasn't really assuming what all 4 year olds think, they are all very different. My 2 boys are completely different. But I do know what my particular 4 year old is like.

Just wish he'd provide me with a more comprehensive Christmas list!

We have 2 girls (3 and 6). Lego is super popular in our house. They too prefer the more colourful ones and we've had a lot of success with the Friends, Disney, Elves and Unikitty sets. They also love classic building sets and have a wonderful time building their own creations (there are usually suggested builds in there too to get them started).

@firefire
Sorry- I didn't mean to suggest that you would ridicule your child. I guess I was referring to stories you hear where adults tease kids for playing with certain things or dressing a certain way.

I had posted this morning in a foggy head of no sleep.Thanks

@JoggerBottom no worries! My first post was also written on a tired head whilst frantically wondering what I could get him! It was badly worded but no, I'd never ridicule him for playing! You do hear stories though, I get it

Sorry if it's been mentioned before, op said she wanted to get a build a bear for her son. Not sure if you have seen the little sets you can do at home. They come with the empty bears and a machine with stuffing. I noticed them in Sainsburys and Tescos local to me.

Thanks! I got him one today in aldi. Much cheaper than the build a bear. Still has a little heart and birth certificate but at 6.99

My dfs son absolutely loves his build a bear, I've bought a couple of outfits for him for Christmas ((for the bear not random outfits for him sorry!)
We have the Tidlo dolls house linked above in our house and he also enjoys it (when he can evict our resident cat Hmm)

My ds2 is very much anti-girl stuff to the point he actually refuses to go to school friend parties because they are girls (I have absolutely no idea where this has come from - I have 2 other d's and very much encourage all things pink and feminine) but he absolutely loves hatchimals and the little colleggtibles which are very much targeted at little girls.
He is also getting a build a bear teddy but it is a star wars one
