Christmas for 10-12yr old boys. What's your biggest success story "toy" wise

Think the title says it all really. What has been the biggest success of a gift that you've given to a just below teen boy. Looking for inspiration and perhaps some more unusual "big hits" because I can't handle another lego set in this house 😁

Ds (10yrs old) loves his echol dot, he also loves his remote control car. Anything football related goes down well and he particularly likes Nike clothes, trainers and accessories. He is desperate for a smart watch this Christmas. Last year he got a camera.

Never even heard of that tape stuff... And we do have a house full of lego. That would be a brill stocking filler.

As they aren't official lego, do you think they'll be any difference between the £8-12 mayka tape, and the £1.99 "block tape" on ebay?
