Thanks so much Fluffy! Off to look now. She's definitely within the catchment! 😂

Sorry to hear that Sprouts 😭

Fluffy I can't find those stats on the school website. Would the borough hold them? Confused

TheWoollybacksWife · 02/06/2018 10:34

Your LA website will have the stats showing school allocations for the current year6 though PSB. This should give you an indication of how likely you are to get your preferred school.

My DS got a letter from school during September to say online applications were open and the closing date is always 31/10. Online applications are preferred - our LA does allow paper applications but I have no idea how you get one. The senior schools will all have open days/evening for you to go and have a look around too.

National Offer Day is always 1st March too.

We ended up going indy for DS as a combination of a high birth rate, moving house and an unfavourable allocation system (but totally fair and those were the risks we took) left us with a state option that we couldn't use.

Morning all Smile
Great fakeaway Fluffy !!
Dh has just asked me to ask you what we can feed a frog on , he has one in the garden in a very small oasis of his making lol , for that, read a bowl buried in the earth with water and sludge in lol. This froggie is perfectly happy there, he just wants to feed him now lol Hmm I won't let him because l don't think it will be good for him.
He is a sweetie bless .
So any ideas or should we just leave him alone ? He wants to feed him cat food Grin
Have a great Saturday everyone Smile

Mrsmadevans · 02/06/2018 10:38

Funny how cat food seems to be the generic go to for feeding all wildlife Hmm Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 02/06/2018 10:46

I wouldn't feed cat food to a frog. Leave him to it, he'll find bugs etc to eat!

We love our Indian fakeaways, Mrs. So much cheaper than buying one from the shop!

All stats are on the admissions page of our local authority, Buttocks.

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 02/06/2018 10:47

Thanks Woolly, I can't find those stats. Confused I don't think they want people to know!

TheWoollybacksWife · 02/06/2018 10:54

It will be there somewhere you just need to be Miss Marple to find it!

This is my LA (for example) and the info is in a pdf under 'Why didn't I get a place at the school(s) to which I applied' Confused

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 02/06/2018 10:54

Not on ours Fluffy 😭

TheWoollybacksWife · 02/06/2018 10:55

What LA will you be applying from? If you post in Secondary Education there will be someone there who can point you in the right direction.

NoWordForFluffy · 02/06/2018 10:55

It really will be somewhere!

PM me your local authority and I'll hunt for you.

NoWordForFluffy · 02/06/2018 10:57

This is ours.

MrsDilligaf · 02/06/2018 14:59

Martha is doing brilliantly Grin.

She's a happy little soul, full of life. Will post a pic...

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 02/06/2018 15:36

I still can't find it Woolly.

We've decided on a girls' school as second choice, it's 10 stops on the bus, which is filling DD with trepidation! Shock

Its motto is "Empowering tomorrow's women", which would be great, were it not for the shocking pink piping and lanyards. Hmm

TheWoollybacksWife · 02/06/2018 15:52

DS is going to have to get the train Shock after I drive him to the station each day

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 02/06/2018 15:55

I think DD would faint at the prospect of being so independent Woolly! 😂

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 02/06/2018 16:01

She's such a cutie! 💖💖💖💖💖

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 02/06/2018 16:01

That was to MrsD 😆

NoWordForFluffy · 02/06/2018 16:07

Isn't there a street shuttle (showing my age calling them that!) that goes from the IL down BGR and almost to the station, Woolly? Though if it's no bother giving him a lift then it doesn't matter, I suppose!

I've PM'd you the info, Buttocks.

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 02/06/2018 18:06

Had beef stew and dumplings for supper, DS2 will go to bed at 6.30. 😋😴

Mrsmadevans · 02/06/2018 18:19
