DD's paying for an extra evening at Adventure out of her tooth money, then we'll get a Domino's. It's 2 doors down. 😆

Just got home and realised we'd left the back door ajar all day nice and cool in here now though....the postman still put a parcel through the cat flap rather than pushing open the door though. Funny.

I once did that when I was flustered getting DD out the door. DH wasn't impressed.

Picked DS2 up, DD's at Adventure, we'll have Domino's when she comes home. 😋🍕

Made chicken curry for tea , it was lovely. When l say made ....ahem I do mean a jar and frozen veg and chicken all put in the oven dish and cooked by my own fair hand
Dh loved it too FP lol. He has been an angel today , helped me clean up Ma & Pa's then took them both to the GP's with me then took me to get their prescriptions , he is a good un .
The weather is glorious here, it just makes everything so good. I am sure you know exactly what l mean despite the hay fever and allergies, it is just so good to feel the sun on our bones.

Morning! Managed not to fall asleep on sofa so that was a bonus. Made a steak and mushroom stroganoff for tea and had mine with rocket instead of rice.I was feeling virtuous until i remembered there were m&ms in my handbag 😮. 4 more days to go ... got handed a Debenhams scratch card while at work yest (they doing a promotion) and got 30% off homeware so might pop in on my break and see if any bits to put away! ... hope everyone’s day is sunny xx

Morning! I slept so well and yet I am very tired this morning 😴

Congratulations Hairspray - whirlwind romances can be amazing can't they? Me and DH we're engaged within 6 months and still together 16 years later.

Well I fell off my diet spectacularly yesterday. I have quite a bit of weight to lose and was doing well but both me and DH had to work late so, unbeknown to me, DH ordered Chinese on his way home. Was tasty but I feel guilty today.

Hope everyone has a nice day in the sunshine except me because I burn I'm hoping to finish work early enough to get a nice walk in later ☀️

Ahhhh. Don't feel guilty. One higher calorie day doesn't ruin a diet. And you need to allow for treats else it's dire losing weight!

It's not meant to be as warm here today. It's certainly a touch chilly this morning. And I'm in a summer dress and sandals. Cold toes!

Thankfully my plants look OK, so it can't have bothered them too much with it being a bit colder overnight.

Morning! All ready for school in summer uniforms, washing out on the dryer, had chocolate pancakes, got an email from the chair of the PTA, we're going to use our gift card to buy ice lollies to sell after school, to raise funds for the summer fair, someone's also looking into bouncy castles for the fair. 😋🍫😆

It's a beautiful day life is sooooo good!
Well atm in time it is, yesterday cleaning the Ma & Pa's it wasn't all that great .
Going to NDN wife's funeral Poor lady . I saw the deterioration in her over the past 6 months and it is a release for her , she had dementia which just seemed to accelerate the longer she was in Hospital. NDN is still in Hospital , I don't know if he will make it to the funeral. I have not seen him this week, Ma & Pa been too poorly so busy with them. Last week when l visited he had me cleaning his false teeth (they were disgusting) and cleaning his deaf aids of ear wax (even worse) and demanding me to shift him up the bed !!! I got the nurses and they made him move himself up the bed ! I am too soft l think he even had me feeding him his dinner ! The nurses were complaining about him being so demanding ..... so it isn't just me then
Anyway it is time for me to get ready , DH had a dicky fit yesterday when his suit trews wouldn't fit , I had to move the button for him and they are still skin tight . Somehow it is all my fault ?????
Anyway have a great day everyone , l will be abandoning the funeral garb asap and going for a walk to shake the sadness of the day away .
Walk here l come get ready for me !

Funeral went as well as could be expected, NDN didn't go bless him. Had to take Mum for an xray of her shoulder and wrist after the funeral so no walk. Never mind DH going to Manchester tomoz to see DD1 and the Science museum to look at the re-entry capsule and astronaut suit of Tim Peake , l am not going , just the two of them to have some father daughter time. In reality l chicken out going to see her because l have to leave her there , l know it sounds mad .

Had feta and bulgar wheat salad and yoghurt, fruit puree and granola for lunch, picked the DC up, had coconut dhal with warm naan bread for supper, DS2 was in bed by 7.30, DD will go at 10.10. 😋😋😴

We got home from the beach about half an hour ago, it was lovely

I submitted our appeal for senior school today. It's a bit weak but you never know, we may get a sympathetic hearing on the day.

No movement. They don't change the list until after the appeals. According to the MN appeals gurus this isn't legal . I don't suppose you specialise in education law do you

I have just heard the sewing bee is coming back next year, sadly no Claudia but I am still thrilled to bits I love it!

No Christmas planning here (for shame ) but I did cut the ivy back so it'll grow nicely for this years decorations.

My DC are taking A Level (DS) and GCSE(DD) so a busy few weeks ahead.
Need to get to bed now , I'm taking DD shopping tomorrow while DH is at the gym (I did a 5km treadmill then sauna so I need a day to rest )
