Bryn Bach park yest was extremely busy loads of children enjoying the park and good weather, just lovely to see them feeding the birds there and all the walkers and joggers and parents with DC , brilliant inclusive place! I grew peppers last year but they failed in that although some did bear fruit, it didn't ripen. I've started them earlier this year and will feed them more too. Hopefully it'll help.

I've got that bed Fridge - well the ottoman version (I hide all the Christmas presents in the ottoman). I'm a fellow shortarse and have to take a running jump to get into it. I swear the first few times DH either feared for his life or thought his luck was in

I've gone for the half ottoman, is it comfy?! I am looking forward to the running jump :)

It is a-may-zing-ly comfortable. I love my bed We got the headboard in the same fabric too. It looks brilliant.

Ordered a couple of new bed linen sets to go with it :)

So glad to hear it is comfy. We have an older version of the mattress and it has served us well :)

No more news on Grandad, he is 80 in December? I feel like a child but is that really old? I always seemed to have very young GPs until the last 2 or three years, my Grandmothers were both married at 18 and are in their early 70s - my other grandfather is 75 this year... I just never considered their mortality, it felt like they would always be there...

Fluffy , pastry is a right pita to make so it is no wonder all the chefs buy it. I can remember all the rubbing in and rolling out , the mess from the flour and the trying to get the pastry off our hands. My mum used to joke that you would see ppls nails clean after they made pastry yuk and thrice yuk shudder l just remembered that from when l was a kid lol perhaps it was best left forgotten
