DS1's looking into pumps. Sooo much more convenient. He just copes now, and thankfully he didn't develop diabetes until he was 14, but when he was little there were blood tests and IV drugs.

Well if you have any pump questions feel free to ask it's honestly changed my life and made me fat

I don't think that'll be a worry for DS1, but being normal weight would be an improvement!

We are safely home now after our trip with two exhausted children! Hopefully they have time to catch up on sleep before Monday, though they're not generally the type to sleep in late, so we will see!

I've had a sofa nap which was a mistake as I took the edge off. Should've just gone to bed early. Slight fail on my part!

Missed posting this morning because l had to represent the parents at a funeral. I also had to do the parents shopio and then go clean and tidy their house then visit NDN in hospital , phew ! It is all go. NDN could not wee so he is in Hospital and now has a catheter in , don't know when he will be home. The NDN DDs have arrived so at least l can concentrate on my own Mum & Dad now.
Just about to have a lovely roast chicken dinner which DH has cooked, bless his heart .
Hope all well , glad you are back in the fold Fluffy , Wreck I am glad the bloods were for thyroid and not for anything dreadful , moi aussi suffers from hypothyroidism bah humbug ! I hate having it , l think it's why l put on weight so easily .....that and because l am a guts ! heehee

I'm at my sisters for the night. It took us three hours to get here this morning, double the usual time. We're just having dinner at ASK. Yum!

Handbag believe me I wonder how l worked too , I was on the go from morning till night and l was so stressed it was awful, still stressed on times but walking helps me so much to relax and take the cares away. I didn't have time to look after myself properly like walking regularly and I lived on Coffee ! Twas no way to live , quality of life is much better nowadays. I like egg on tost toast in Welsh but don't like cleaning the poached egg pan lol mine always catches on the bottom .
On the Christmas gift side l bought a few perfumes from B& M yest , had some real bargains , CK ONE 200mls 9.99 !!! I bought 3 don't know why l bought 3 , carried away with the price methinks

Morning! DS2's on WiFi, I'm drinking coffee. We'll have breakfast in the Sainsbury's café, DM's meeting us for lunch there, so we'll just stay. I'll have toasted banana bread so I'm not too full for lunch. 😋🍌🍞

I start preparing for Christmas around October, there are too many birthdays before then, and Easter ends up costing a fortune, the DC only got cheap eggs, but I ended up spending £24 on their bonnets for school!

Hence why l bought three, twas a bit greedy methinks but l reasoned that they won't eat nor drink and instead of buying loads of small pressies and using the dining room as a present room all the live long days, these are so small they won't take up the room.

I have had the most lazy morning. I didn't wake up until 9 (which is a shocking lie in for me). Got up, made tea and toast then went back to bed and watched Chicago Fire for a while. I'm only now up and about properly!

I went to Aldi yesterday and bought some red and green yarn as I seem to go through a lot of those colours nothing to do with my penchant for making Christmas I things I'm sure but I haven't really done anything to prep for Christmas yet.

Fridge! How are you doing now?

I'm doing ok :) Not much of an attention span, the anaesthetic seemed to affect me strangely and my brain is taking a while. Wilf was 5 on Monday and I made him a birthday cake today, that was a lot of effort! I am able to get about the house without crutches already, which is brilliant. Looks like what they have done (bit of an osteotomy again and stapling my cartilage into my hip joint) while at the extensive end of that surgery has gone well. And amazingly my arthritis is not progressing! Losing weight and getting in the gym and building muscle etc. seems to have helped slow things down.
