Ah, you lot are so nice

I'm back in work today and it's helping a lot to keep my mind active.
I started thinking about Christmas crafts then started worrying about which thing to do first, then got to tired I was asleep early last night. Poor DH.

Woolly I hope the move goes well. Last time we moved I strategically couldn't get off work so DH and his friends moved everything then I arrived in time to just unpack the kitchen, bedroom and choose where the photos / paintings were going...
Have you already decided where the Christmas tree will be going in the new house? It's always the first thing I work out, that and where the dogs can sleep

Christmas Trees we will have at least three.

A new tree was the first thing we bought. It will go in the hall at the bottom of the stairs.

Handbag delighted that you are back chatting with us. I've been pinning crafty bits like mad. I think I might do a crochet nativity this year. No idea if I'll keep it or give it to Woolly Hugs for the craft sale.

Oh woolly I'm so jealous! I would love a nice house. No chance of us ever owning though living in the south.

Dds at a sleepover (also in a very nice house probably worth almost a million. Ds is still ill with a cold and fever (since Saturday now).

I didn't get any Easter eggs now I somehow have three bought two myself and then my sister got me one!

Morning all.
Am early today , had to get DD2 up for work and we are off to Hereford Cathedral to see the weeping poppies and the Mappa Mundi , Chain library and up the Tower, if it is open and l can bear the height .
Hope all DC are feeling better and have a glorious day planned .
Take care everyone it is supposed to rain and be cold today but beautiful tomoz , no snow will be just fine for me anything else is a bonus

Wreck l meant to say l loved your kettle and toaster they really go well with your very stylish tiling and grouting ....oh my ... love the tiles with the coloured grout. Mine are white tiles and minging yellow grouting ..... yukky stained from cooking urggghh l really need to sort this house out , it all needs a good declutter and deep clean and then a damn good update. I am not feeling it atm though, so it will have to wait till l am in the mood lol .

Oh thanks Mrs. Dh is a builder so all of the tiles and grout were left over from a job. The grout looks nice but dh said it was a pita to do and it's quite crumbly at the bottom.

I'm still in bed ds is asleep next to me, dd was at the sleepover last night so I let him sleep with me and dh took his bed

We have been busy decorating again - so far we have done one-end of the living room. I chose “Red Spice” as the bold colour to have on a few feature walls. I think it looks really nice and festive? It will be fabulous in the darker winter months with our lights and candles everywhere. I’ll show the other-end of the room when we’ve got it done (but there is lots more to do down that end so it will take ages 🙁)

Ooh, lovely colour, Blacksmiths! I really like decorating, but we've done most of the house recently, so don't have that itch to scratch at the moment!

Mrs did you enjoy the poppies? Me and DH went last week, I thought it was very well done.

I hate decorating, I have no imagination so struggle to 'see' what I want the room to look like. Generally DH suggests things, I say yes and we live with it for a while before I decide if I like it or not

DH is going away for a week on Sunday so I'm planning some Christmas crafting then - away from his look.

I'm also feeling a little less fragile today and so glad I came back to the thread!

Weather has been dire am fed up of it we got soaked in Hereford today , we came home quite early because of the downpour. Blasted weather needs to sort itself out! Supposed to be gorgeous tomoz ......we shall see .....

All the beds are up and made. Poor DD2 had a new one due to be delivered today and Yodel didn't even try so she's got her old saggy one as a temporary measure and fingers crossed they'll try properly again tomorrow. Our blinds have been fitted so we are at least dark and private overnight.

There are about 20-25 boxes left to unpack but everyone has worked flat out today. DD2's boyfriend has been an utter star.

Right I'm going to collapse with tea, cake and crochet in front of the footy while DH sweats blood. Come on you Reds.

Woolly , sterling work, well done to you all for pulling together and getting the house ship shape and Bristol fashion. I am sure you will soon have those boxes unpacked and sorted in no time . Hope Yodel get their act together and DD has her new bed today . It is all coming together brilliantly.

Wreck hope the blood test is simply a very routine run of the mill one and you are well my dear, enjoy the friend and the sun .
Funny how just the small matter of the sun shining, makes us all feel so much happier .
l am not doing much today getting DD washing dried to take back to Uni on Sunday , prob pop up to town later.

Eugh I can't cope with hangovers.

Mrs I'm diabetic (type 1) so have bloods all the time but this time it's thyroid (annual), iron and vit d. I've been exhausted recently so thought I'd get them done.

Wreck DS1 has CF-related diabetes, it's very similar to T1. He also has a fear of needles.

Hope all's well.

Oh no that must be so hard. I have a pump now but obviously that still entails needles!
