That's good, Hairspray. Will you get your own place after you've settled in a bit?

Hi puppydog! Is that a book? What kind of things are in there?

HairsprayBabe · 12/03/2018 13:41

I think so, I don't really know what my plans will be in 6 months time, I really always wanted to move back to my home town, this job WFH is encoraged so I guess it is a wait and see situation really

FridgeCut · 12/03/2018 18:55

Glad you are settled Hairspray :) or in at least!

I've got Gabriel into preschool a couple of mornings after Easter, I'm having surgery two weeks tomorrow so having him occupied a couple of mornings will really help. I feel a bit sad though, he is only 2.5 and that seems quite little.

I quite fancy a blueberry bush, are they good producers?

Mrsmadevans · 12/03/2018 19:14

Well done Hairspray on moving in , you will soon be settled in and l bet you will love it and make good friends .
Fridge, ahhh bless you, it is horrible when they start going to playschool because they are growing up then but he will love it I bet.
Welcome Puppy join in do my dear!
Have been trying to do a jigsaw this afternoon , note 'trying' lol , DH has just cooked us a lovely tea, roast chicken sprouts carrots roast potatoes and gravy he excelled himself and did the washing up too!

Fridge, ours are summer-born and started preschool in the September after turning 2, and both adored it from the get go (DS was impatient to go after having spent the previous year taking / collecting DD with DH!).

DS 'graduates' this year and goes to school and he's really going to be ready for it thanks to his two years there.

The blueberry bushes we have are apparently high yield. I've no idea what that means, but I need about 1kg off each bush to break even! We shall see. 😂

Is your home town not where you were living with the knobhead? I can't imagine going back to where I'm from these days (though at your age I applied for a national graduate scheme and accidentally ended up back there as that's where head office was based!). I only stayed 3 years before buggering off again...to West Bridgford!

You might not want to miss out on work nights out by travelling in. But you can judge that in those first 6 months. Nottingham is an ace city to live in though. And near enough to the Peak District for great walking opportunities (with country pubs also involved!).

Morning! I had a lovely night's sleep last night. Mainly because I was in bed just after 9! I love a nice early night every now and then. Recharges my batteries a touch. 😁

I've just got on the train to go to work and love seeing it trying light and hearing all the birds tweeting away. It's so much warmer now than it was; spring is just round the corner folks!

Mrsmadevans · 13/03/2018 08:57

Morning all.
Yes to hearing and seeing the day come to life Fluffy it is just lovely.
I used to work nights all the time and it was just the most wonderful thing when the morning dawned .
Am off up the market for a walk just now, have a great Nephew birthday to sort out ,so will set to and send the parcel and the card off. I am old enough to have an 8 year old Great Nephew never thought l would see the day ! Grin
Hope all well, take care everyone , weather looks lovely here this is the first morning we haven't put the heating on !
Spring has sprung like Fluffy said! Xmas Grin

Morning! Lovely for some, DS2 complained that the birds tweeting woke him up this morning! 🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦🐦😂

I've just had scrambled eggs on a bagel, a banana and am still drinking a large caramel latte. 😋🍌☕

WreckTangled · 13/03/2018 10:23

Lovely day here too...took a walk around the zoo and saw the new warty pigs had arrived Grin they are in quarantine till Easter. I am still feeling really quite unwell...but everyone else is better luckily.

Spring is definitely here!

NoWordForFluffy · 13/03/2018 19:23

We've reduced our heating, but still have it on (cold, Victorian, house) for the morning and to warm the bathroom for the kids' bath time. I can't wait until we can turn it off totally though!

NoWordForFluffy · 13/03/2018 20:15

We got 3 loads of washing dry today...DH said the washing line was full to bursting! It’s a good job we did as the wash basket was starting to need its own postcode! 😂😂

We did bring 2 bees in with the clean washing though, which is unusual! 🐝🐝

Got to love line-dried washing.

FridgeCut · 13/03/2018 20:48

We had rain on and off, I really want to get some washing outside, and Gabriel wants to go and play :)

NoWordForFluffy · 13/03/2018 21:02

Our two played outside today. They love mooching round the garden.

We stick washing out all year, but we are now entering the 'no airing required' time of year rather than things needing to be finished off inside.

Morning! Glorious start to the day here today. Doesn't a bit of sunshine make everything feel so much better?!

Another long day ahead of me in the cupboard(!). (Though you're right that I'm normally so busy I don't really notice it, Mrs.)

Downhill to the weekend after today. Yay!

Come one come all .Welcome everyone . It’s countdown to Christmas 2018!
SallyDog · 14/03/2018 08:13

What a beautiful sky Fluffy!

It's a bit less sunny here today but I don't mind....spring can't be too far away now!

Morning! I'm having smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and a banana today. 😋🐟🍌

NoWordForFluffy · 14/03/2018 13:31

It's gone gloomy here. Wonder what it's like further up the coast at home!

At least it's not long until your DD is back, Mrs. 😊

The weekend looks cold again. We need spring to come along properly, not all this up and down nonsense!

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 14/03/2018 14:07

We seem to have stolen your sun Fluffy. Sorry! Blush

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 14/03/2018 14:41

The DC are at Adventure today. 😆

WreckTangled · 14/03/2018 14:44
