Maybe he'll get a better teacher next year. DS2's teacher last year just wasn't right for his personality, this year he's got DD's teacher from last year, who's a much better fit. Good luck! 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀

WreckTangled · 14/03/2018 14:55

Thanks! Yes, next year's teacher is much more understanding of quiet anxious children.

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 14/03/2018 15:52

That's good! 😀

Mrsmadevans · 14/03/2018 19:01

No wonder you have perfect buttocks, being good and looking after yourself with a brekky like that Perfect Grin
Fluffy l totally agree with you re the weather it needs to make its mind up! Yes DD1 will be home in 15 days for 10 sleeps Xmas Grin yay!
Wreck the DC need understanding and encouragement bless them yah boo sucks to the labelling teacher. Glad you have a much more understanding teacher for him next year .
Been out for a lovely walk to Goldcliffe again it is becoming a fave of ours , not a soul there just us and the sheep, horses, wind and the water and wildlife ...just Bliss.
Went to look for a car after , not in a terrific hurry just having a look , can't decide between a VW Tiguan or a Nissan Quashcai. l have a job just spelling them let alone driving them Xmas Grin, l think the Nissan is a bit big for me to drive though Hmm we shall see Smile.
When we came home NDN freezer had packed up , we had to clean it up for him and order him another from Argos and get rid of about 120 quids worth of food. I phoned the insurance for him and tbf they were brilliant (REIS) and are sending him a cheque for 70 pounds allowing for 50 pound excess on his policy. I did feel sorry for him , he was waiting for us to come home lurking in his garage Sad he is all sorted now though ,new freezer coming Friday .I had to physically remove the spoiled food because he wanted to keep it and cook it and eat it , he would have gotten food poisoning, the food was so soft there were no ice crystals at all left eeekkkk! The sort of thing my Parents would do Hmm
Hope all have a lovely evening , we are exhausted here lol is it any wonder!

Yes, Mrsmad, that's precisely why I have perfect buttocks! 😂

SallyDog · 14/03/2018 22:30

Well done Mrs, your NDN is blessed to have you! Definitely go for the tiguan, if you are a reversing wimp like me! The Nissan back windscreen was awful for visibility.

The weather is awful here, I had read that the Beast From The East was back, and then had an argument with DH who said it was the Pest From The West Grin

Good luck with parents eve Wreck. I feel your pain, DD was always labeled as socially awkward Hmm

Mrsmadevans · 14/03/2018 22:51

Thought so Perfect Grin
Ah Sally thank you for the praise but l don't think anyone would have left the poor thing to it. Just told DH bout the Tiguan and the Nissan , he wants a Tiguan Grin so l expect we will be getting one sooner or later.
Your Dh is a poet and he doesn't know it lol
Better shift my expanding behind (not perfect like someone who frequents this thread ) GrinGrinto bed
Night all ........sweet dreams .

Well, sorry to disappoint, but I coined it the Pest from the West the other week when it was first labelled the Beast from the East, but we had snow in the west before it hit the east!

I saw the attached meme on Facebook yesterday and thought it was apt. 😂

Still, it's Thursday today, so it's very nearly the weekend! 10 more working days before a stretch of 11 days off. Woooooo! (Then a heart-attack-inducing amount of work to catch up on when I'm back. Sigh!)

Come one come all .Welcome everyone . It’s countdown to Christmas 2018!
WreckTangled · 15/03/2018 07:27

Thanks everyone! He's such a lovely boy and is quite clever he's just very shy.

Mrsmadevans · 15/03/2018 09:06

Morning all.
Looks ok out but DH has wimped out and put the heating on lol
Fluffy, it will be lovely for you to have such a long break , make the most of it, which l am sure you will. They say the snow and cold weather is back the weekend .....BRRRRR
Wreck, hope parents evening went very well my dear. I can remember it well , some teachers are not very nice people, FACT. We just have to get through the year with gritted teeth..... literally!
Right better get up, shopping for NDN and us in Aldi's first.... then a good walk , take care all.

Morning! I've just had a big breakfast and a banana. 😋🍳🍌

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 15/03/2018 14:03

Both DC have clubs today, so I don't have to pick them up until 4. 😆

Where did everyone go?!

I'm already on a train to work. DS woke me up just after 4 by laughing in his sleep(!) and my bladder then kicked in and that was me awake. So I decided to get up and get an earlier train. I'm going to walk from Liverpool centre to work so I get some steps in (and I've no inclination to be there before 7, in reality!).

This first train is obviously used to get back in position for rush hour, as it's a 6 carriage one. With about 10 of us on board; it's almost like my own personal train! 😂😂

Has anyone got any weekend plans? I don't think we have really. See how it all pans out!

WreckTangled · 16/03/2018 06:35

I've got to have a filling today 😭 I'm dreading it. No weekend plans, might get some snow ❄️

NoWordForFluffy · 16/03/2018 07:03

Ooh. I've never had one. Good luck!

puppydogmummy · 16/03/2018 08:16

Weather here today terrible! Cold grey rainy I’m working from home do think I’ll put new fleecy red throws on sofa light the last of my Christmas Yankee candles and work from sofa on laptop. Snow forecast here too just in time for St Patrick’s Day parade in town. Grrrrr

Mrsmadevans · 16/03/2018 08:35

Morning all!
I was absolutely knackered yest , felt like l was dragging my bod around the place. Prob due to the stress of DD1 going back, I am such a lightweight! Feel better this morning after a good sleep.
She has just rung and said her shift went ok , first night on a new ward and it is always stressful for her wondering if her mentor will be nice or the other staff will be nice too. She is very sensitive follows mummy Hmm and it is a curse believe me .
Fluffy are you getting o/t for today , l hope so lovely!
The early train sounds just lovely though .
No plans for weekend , it is another terrible rugby weekend for me l am afraid Hmm. l might do a bit of baking , if l can get away ! l want to do the brownie recipe Hairspray gave me again they were delicious.
Wreck..... aw yes the dreaded filling , I remember , I hope it goes ok my dear . The anaesthesia they inject in my mouth is prob the only thing that stops me eating Grin Grin so there is a ray of sunshine behind every cloud lol.
Puppy sounds like you have the best idea in fact l am slightly jealous lol
Have a good day everyone, l am off to clean my ma & pas and get their council tax paid by direct debit at last !!!

Morning! I had super scrambled egg (made with skimmed milk and with spinach through it) and a banana today. 😋🍌

PerfectlySymmetricalButtocks · 16/03/2018 12:31

Fluffy our weekend plans consist of:

Breakfast in the Sainsbury's café tomorrow
Pyjama day on Sunday

Easter Blush
NoWordForFluffy · 16/03/2018 12:32

I'm glad that your DD is settling well, Mrs, and that you slept well (if slightly envious!).

I loved WFH, puppy. We don't do it at this firm though (but I'm trying to push hard for it!). I worked at a desk, however, as I need 2 computer screens to work efficiently.

And yes, Mrs, I wouldn't dream of coming in so early if I wasn't getting overtime! 😂😂

WreckTangled · 16/03/2018 12:37

Ah Mrs I would hate to do all those different placements. We had a lovely third year student nurse with us last month, she is going to make a great nurse.

I can't work from home in my job but I'm naturally happy being idle so probably a good job Grin

Filling done. I have the best dentist. He put the tiniest bit of anaesthetic in first so I couldn’t feel him do the rest and just used a small amount so my lips and tongue aren’t numb and he used one without adrenaline in so my heart didn’t beat faster Grin I might reward myself with a nap, as I can't eat yet.
