works doo tonight and i'm making sure my lovely DP picks me up at 11pm takeout in hand as its christmas food shop tomorrow.

Dh has taken our other 2 dc to do the Christmas food shop, I do not envy him one tiny bit Town will be absolutely rammed today as it is every year,

Awww Pink congrats.

Bins, dropped DH at work, bought dog toy for cousin's guide dog, washing, coffee & chat with window cleaner, dentists, bought baked beans. Now waiting for DD to finish wrapping my presents so I can wrap DHs. Packing the car to spend 4 nights away. Must remember to pack Christmas tree to brighten up the Premier Inn.

I'm stuck under a chicken poxy child who's still sprouting new spots. I really hope he's better for Christmas, poor sod. On the plus side, there's a lot less bickering between the dc here. Silver linings...

Making birthday cakes for tomorrow ...

Got up at 6am to do the food shop, came home and went back to sleep for an hour. Made pizza with the kids for lunch, now cleaning the house before my last shift at work.

Putting marzipan on cake, true Christmas channel on in background... about to wrap santa presents as DS & DP out Christmas shopping for my presents. Is it Bailey's time yet?

We were up and out by 7 to do The Big Xmas Shop. It was rammed but we got everything on our list and spent all the points we’ve been saving all year :)

Have cleaned the house from top to almost-bottom (the floors are DH’s job) and wrapped the last few presents.

We are hosting for the first time this year. Eight people coming and I’m very excited and weirdly calm about it all.

Having a lie-down with my kitten now as I didn’t sleep well. Going out for drinks with friends later DH’s birthday tomorrow.

First day off and I am doing NOTHING. It feels wonderful.

DCs are gaming. I've just poured a glass of wine to accompany my TV watching and net surfing on the couch.

We will go for a walk later to get some fresh air, but then planning on an evening of lazing about (and excitedly awaiting my monster Ocado delivery which they have just texted to say has NO subtititons or missing items. Hurrah!).

I am in heaven

I've had the day to myself as I have finished work and DP hasn't. Been for a mega long run in the hills, then braved town and finished my shopping.

Going to my parents tonight to do our christmas dinner and exchange gifts as we are not spending the 25th together

Worked until 2. Got home and had a big tidy and a bit of a toy cull ready for Monday. DS did play doh and watched TV.
Had a bath and a G&T now going to watch saving Santa with DH and DS, takeaway curry for tea
DH did the last supermarket shop this morning before work so we’re all sorted

I've iced the cake and finished the shopping. Am drinking gin and eating peanuts to keep my strength up before we order a takeaway.

Finally finished work!!!! Chipp tea and a large wine. But off into town in the morning to see dad and i might just go sut in Costa on my own as dh and the kids are offto a football match.

Whoop. Found tree stand and finally put tree up.
DC (teens) in high spirits and are having a Hamilton singalong in kitchen.

I need to hoover stairs. Wrap some click and collect stuff I picked up today.

Veg box came with celeriac and sprouting broccoli but no sprouts. Weird.

Must not buy anything else.... Must not buy anything else...

We went to the cinema and collected our food order from M&S. Dd has vomited twice which is not good. She seems ok now and is a good few hours clear. I just hope no one else gets it.

My brother met us in town and came back home with us so when dh came home I escaped with DB to visit our grandparents for an hour.

I’ve had a lovely day in my nearest city wandering around the shops and Christmas market with DH.

Tonight I’ll finish wrapping and we’ll watch a film with a take away.

DP finished work at lunchtime, we’ve done the food shop and had a little party lunch, watched padington and played board games. Putting DC to bed and then we need to clean

We had story time with Santa at tea time. Then dd with her dad tonight.
Love actually and a wine tonight for me. DH away seeing his two from previous. Doing all the washing and ironing after love actually. Sobbing ere watching it even though I’ve seen it many many times

Winter walk with grown up daughters and granddaughter, rare event being together, festivating the house and organising food supplies and plan of action for cooking nice things. Watching tv all night and eyeing up nibbles.

Worked till 4pm
Did The Big Shop with DH
Had a Chinese for tea
Wrapped all DS's presents with DH
Will be downing wine when DS gets in from Scouts (DH has to drive to pick him up) and watching telly in bed
Eye the brandy while telling myself it's a Bad Idea.....

Did the big shop which was fine, pottered around cleaning and cooking but didn't feel pressured about it, just did it casually. Now watching festive twaddle with a small sherry ☺ lovely day.

Finished work yesterday.
Up at 4.20am with DD then didn't really go back to sleep
Up at 7am for brekkie.
Nursery did a special Christmas lunch so there with the DC'S. Total chaos.
Chilled this pm.
Made a chicken casserole for supper.
Hopefully the munchkins will be in bed early and I'll be able to wine and relax.
