works doo tonight and i'm making sure my lovely DP picks me up at 11pm takeout in hand as its christmas food shop tomorrow.

Am so hungover.

Same as @KrisCringle: deep cleaning the house and doing a toy cull once DH has taken the DC to his parents' house!

Planned on making the gingerbread house and some Christmassy truffles for presents today. DD forgot to take the gingerbread dough out of the freezer last night though so can't make it until the evening when it finally defrosts so I guess just making the truffles and napping during the day today (so so tired)

OH is going to do the Christmas clean he says, right now he's outside sprinkling gravel on the icy driveway while being snowed on which seems a bit silly to me, I'd wait until it stopped snowing.

DS is at nursery. DH and I are having the first day to ourselves in over a year! We’re going to the cinema and having lunch- if I ever get out of bed

Getting the house ready and waiting obsessively for a package to arrive.
It’s been ‘in transit’ for 2 days. 😬

And keeping DH and DS1 from squabbling.

So when deliveries arrive we are going town for lunch and do girlie things. And last bits of shopping I forgot .

Christmas food shop this morning.
This afternoon I’m meeting some friends for our Christmas get together. We are having a bite to eat at one friends house, then going to an 80’s disco party thing this evening. We are dressing up, so I’m going to be in a tutu and leg warmers by 2pm

DHs last day then off in our vintage caravan later for 4 days on the Yorkshire Moors, just us, isolated from it all. Mini Christmas tree, stocking for the dog, cheesy music, fairy lights, trivial pursuit, jigsaws, etc.

I am actually doing the full works Christmas dinner in our little oven and have enough cheese and goodies to sink a battleship.

We can't wait!!!

Scrubbing and grooming the dc, birds nest hair to tackle . Then off to hair dresser. Clean a little as well. Pack for four day visit. Make sure we have everything, stocking fillers etc. Stocking! Presents. Tonight I will be tortured at pils in the dreading it, there is always something said that's rude or offensive. Trying ti brace myself for it.

Booked a cleaner for four hours and I’m going to get all the washing etc and tidying up done first so she can then come in and be able to clean properly !
Hoping to have a relaxing weekend and Christmas after today’s efforts

Finish decorating the dining room and cleaning. Then getting my nails done later.

Working! 7:40am-5pm as per. And working tomorrow, then a mad panic to get everything sorted as I'm busy all day Christmas Eve 🙈

Nothing planned. Went to panto yesterday, going ice skating tomorrow so today just gonna chill out and relax. Eldest is watching YouTube, little one is playing with her equestria girls and himself is having a lie in. I'm a contented little cookie.

Make some of the side dishes for Xmas day and bung in the freezer.
Wrap the last few bits.

All this to be achieved with a stinking hangover as it was our works do last night.

Every bloody year I never learn.

I am currently trying to put ds down for a nap so I can have a shower and get dressed, he is a clingy baby at the moment. Need to do another coat on some drawers I am painting (and need finishing by tomorrow). Going to my mums then pick up the last couple of presents this afternoon. Also vacuuming, washing etc. Oh the joys!

My birthday today, just got back from evening meal at a cafe right on the beach which was quite nice.

Bit preoccupied with packing stuff for a 3.5 hour drive tomorrow to visit family for xmas... can't wait for it all to be over with and be back home again tbh!

It's my dd's birthday too! However, she and her big sis are in a foul mood, and dp has man flu. Joy. We have plans to get out and about but nobody is moving as yet.....

I picked up my M&S food order at 8am twitched on some half price posh crackers and had a quick whizz round the food hall for pate/cheese etc. Tesco order coming tomorrow but it's things that I can get from the local Co-op if not available, like cream etc.

Finding Christmas tree stand

Trying to decide in next 20 minutes whether to join friends going to beach and having a swim in the sea. I think I'd hate it at the time but be pleased afterwards.

Going to see the new Star Wars film and out for lunch

Today is Big Clean Day chez RJ towers.

I'm currently procrastinating, having put cleaner down one of the loos.
